VBRO suggests confirming check-in info with the host 3 days prior to the checknin date. When i reached out, I was told I would be provided the info "closer to the check in day." I was worried about not having the check in instructions the day of, but we made the journey to the house despite having no info on how to get in. The host provided the information roughly 1 hour before the check in time.Other than that, the house was wonderful! The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. It lists each bathroom as having a bidet-they do not.

DO NOT BOOK

Didn’t get to stay. Host didn’t respond 24 hours before the day of arrival. Had to get a refund and figure out other plans for 10 other guests including myself. I highly do not recommend.

Big House, but lots of trash

The house is very spacious, easy to get to, two-car garage which we used because of the cold weather, and worked well for our family gathering. The problems arose with the communication, the broken things around the house, and a garage full of trash when we arrived. The house is "tired" with lots of things that need updating and fixed. We left a list and the house manager said they would try to address several of them. The trash issue was a real problem. There were at least 20 bags of trash in the garage when we arrived and they never were removed. Trash day is Friday and apparently, they only get rid of trash on that day so if you rent the house in between, you have to deal with the previous renters trash. Communication was an issue because for some things, I was told to text the housekeeper, for some it was the house manager, and then both of those folks referenced the owner. We were told a handyman was coming by to fix the burned out lights, broken door closures, and leaky faucets, but one never arrived. There is also no house manual or welcome packet, or anything like that to help with the appliances or community or check-out procedures, etc. It's a big house if you just need a place for alot of people, it just has some issues that you may need to overlook.
