The Space:

This comfortable, down-to-earth 2-bedroom, 1-bath home is designed for easy Nashville stays. Inside, you’ll find a simple, functional layout with a relaxed living area, flexible sleeping options for up to five guests, and a well-kept full bathroom. Stay connected with Wi-Fi, pack light with the in-unit washer and dryer, and take advantage of driveway parking for two vehicles. You’ll be in a peaceful residential area with quick access to the city’s marquee attractions, universities, and local favorites.

• Family gear: A pack ’n play is available upon request—please let us know in advance so we can have it ready.

• Laundry: Washer and dryer are available in-unit for guest use.

• Pet policy: No pets are allowed at this home.

• Check in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 10:00 AM. We cannot guarantee or approve early check in or late checkout requests in advance.

• We recommend considering travel insurance, just in case any unexpected changes come up. We do stick to our cancellation policy and want to make sure you're covered!

• We provide bedding, towels and a small starter set of essentials to help get you settled. Feel free to message us for details on what’s included.

• Salt, pepper, and cooking oil are not provided unless otherwise noted.

This stay was terrible from the beginning. We showed up and the temperature was 76 degrees inside. The air conditioner wasn't working properly. There was a portable air conditioner in one of the rooms and fans in the rest of the rooms. They know they have a problem and didn't own up to it. The temperature actually went up to 77 degrees. I contacted the company that was renting it out and they just kept on giving me 'sorry about the inconvenience, we will get back to you'. They said they were in contact with the local maintenance company. Now they are saying I denied them access into the unit to investigate, but that wasn't true. I never denied them access. My 87 year old mother in law was extremely uncomfortable!!! The TV service didn't work either. I am still working with VRBO to get reimbursement. I definitely will not be staying here again.

Air conditioning needs help

The air conditioner was unable to keep the house at a comfortable temperature. Owner was responsive and tried to help with fans and portable AC unit, but I definitely would not stay here in the summer again.

Family Reunion Trip to Nashville

My 2 adult children and I probably never would have traveled to Nashville, for nearly a week long vacation, had a few of our distant relatives not organized a wonderful family reunion, at their two, beautiful, new homes, both in Brentwood and Nolensville, here in Nashville, Tennessee!n We looked on a map and chose this location, due to it's proximity to their two homes, as well as other sights and natural areas of interest.We were not at all disappointed with this location, since we come from NYC, and we're liking to stay outside the city heat of the city,where most moplaces that we wanted to visit. It was hot during the day. We could not get it to go below 78 degrees all day. We also could not get the TV in the master to work. It appeared that there was not enough WIFI for the TV.

Prime Location

This was the ultimate location as my son was attending a computer coding camp at Vanderbilt University. However. I did have a couple of issues while staying here. When we arrived the thermostat was set to a temperature of 68 however the internal temperature was at 76. When i reached out to the property management team i was informed that they would have someone come out this was at 6:24pm. I reached back out at 8:04pm and at this time i was informed that there would not be anyone coming out until the next day. I also infomed them of the tub drain not working and i was instructed to check for any blockage. Maintenence arrived the next day. Maintenance stated the issue was resolved that morning. Later that evening I reached back out around 4:53pm as it was still extremely hot and showing 76 degrees as the internal temperature. I was instructed to close all blinds to help keep the temperature down but unfortunately there was no real fix. Although the property had an amazing location we would not stay again as there was no sense of urgency to ensure that we were comfortable as guests.

Barking Dogs

The location was amazing and the space was super cute. The renters downstairs had 2 dogs that barked all hours of the day and night and woke up our little kids. Our visit was miserably hot in Nashville so the apartment being upstairs was very very hot and unable to cool down. The fan in the back bedroom only works with the light on so that made it pretty uncomfortable to sleep.

Really liked the close proximity to Green Hills (Lipscomb University particularly) very cute home with beautiful character, and the rooftop deck was amazing! Couch was a little rough to sit on as it sunk, but we weren't on it much. I would definitely recommend if you want more than a hotel room in the area, as we wanted two bedrooms. They were on opposite ends of the home which provided nice privacy. Great to have a kitchen and frig/ice as well!

The location was absolutely perfect! Great neighborhood and Loved being able to sit out on the balcony. The only complaint is that it could use more towels, and probably a bit bigger size. There were only 4 and there were 4 of us. Being women and with long hair at a 4 night stay was frustrating. Plenty of pans and utensils, would like to have had some basic seasonings to include salt. Good but not great.

Apartment was clean, kind of a retro spot. Only two complaints. The sleep sofa in the living room is simply tired and needs desperately to be replaced. Very uncomfortable to sit in to watch tv. Secondly, the front yard was not mown and was heavy in weeds. That being the first impression was a downer. Location is great and the beds were comfortable.

Perfect Location for the Reason we were Visiting!

We were in Nashville to support our daughter at the College Stunt Nationals at Lipscomb. It was about a half mile walk from the venue and less than a 15 minute drive to Broadway. The place was clean and was exactly as shown in photos and described in the listing. It was quiet and we loved that we had the balcony to relax on.

Quiet and Fabulous

Stayed here during a work weekend with some friends and enjoyed our stay in a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely suggest this place in the Green Hills for anyone looking for a historical place to stay with fairly timely responses from the management team if any issues arrive. Adorable cottage in beautiful neighborhood

This cottage is about 5 minutes from Lipscomb, and in a lovely neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable, and the space was perfect for three of us to stay for a long weekend visiting our daughter at college. It's an older house, and the cottage is an apartment upstairs above the house with it's own entrance. This was a little confusing in the description online and we asked for clarification on where to park. You do need to park in the driveway to the right of house. You will see a gold mailbox by the driveway. If you can clarify this, it should clear everything up. No problem getting into the house, the keypad is pretty standard now at most VRBO's where we have stayed. I would absolutely rent this again.

Nice neighborhood near all the Nashville sights!

We enjoyed the safe and nice location of this apartment. The rooftop was a cool feature that we would have used more of it was not so hot during our visit. There were little touches that were nice like a set of hygiene essentials. The unit was mostly quite clean and is an older home with lots of character and some updates have been made. There are some things in want of replacement or repair including a worn out couch, old and worn mattresses, doors that are tricky to open and close, a faulty ceiling fan, and a stained and cracked bath tub. Heads up to future travelers: this was a difficult place to manage a baby/toddler as there is no way to gate the stairs and the squeaky floors and doors woke ours from sleep a lot.

Charming Cottagw

Place was in a very nice neighborhood and area of Nashville 15 minutes max to everything we decided to do. Uber to Broadway was only $12 (+tip). The 2 ‘negatives’ Couch- (guess it’s a sofa bed) - is very uncomfortable to sit or lay on while hanging out. Needs replacing. Roof deck needs a small deck box for the seat cushions. We had rain every night and cushions were unusable since they were out and never dried out. Definitely a good place to stay though. Fixing the negatives would really make it much better.

Fine but room to improve

The neighborhood is lovely, the location is convenient, and the beds were comfortable. Those advantages might outweigh the issues below. But there are too many issues entirely under the control of the owner/manager for this to be called a “5 star” (or I suppose now “10 star”) experience, especially since I see some of these issues in reviews going back years. Starting with arrival, the instructions were comically wrong—and when informed of this, Grand Welcome (which has been great at other properties) did not answer the phone and then responded with total nonsense. Thanks to the neighbor who sees this every time for cluing us in. The promised sofa bed is broken and unusable (there was a twin cot that worked for our purposes, thankfully). The bathroom tub is ancient and the drain fixture is basically rotting away. The outside cushions are moldy and stained. The king bed has popped springs on the side right where one wants to sit. There are lots of champagne flutes, but no drinking glasses. You also may or may not love the “charms” of an old house (creaky floors, cranky windows, doors that don’t stay where you put them, and there’s never an outlet where you want one). So overall it was fine, it really was. We enjoyed our time. But perfect reviews suggest to me there's nothing to improve, and that's just not true here.

We couldn't have asked for a better space for my old military friend and I to catch up!! Away from the hustle and bustle to be able to sleep peacefully and talk, but close enough to Uber to and from Broadway! Beautiful home.
