I can honestly say this is my first time using Vrbo and I have no complaints with this rental! The host was very responsive and the communication was great. She helped me with anything I needed and allowed me to have a birthday event with my friends and family. I truly appreciate the stay and the experience because it was really good. The house was just as the pictures that are posted on here and everything was fully stocked up as well. I would highly recommend staying here !

Our family had a great time at this property! We had a few things come up but the property manager was very quick to respond and resolve our issues. Really neat layout that allowed for separate gathering areas yet all feels connected. The pool table and arcade game were a nice bonus and got a lot of use.

Great Location!

Overall, my wife and family enjoyed their time here. Pros: great location, well-stocked kitchen, lots of spaceCons: there is an ant problem in the kitchen, place hasn't been dusted in awhile, and assorted small things are broken (smoke detector, towel rack etc.)All in all, they had a good time. The place needs a good cleaning and a visit from Orkin and it would be perfect.

Great stay in Shawnee

The house is laid out nicely with plenty of room for our family of 5. Lots of games in the downstairs area. We had a couple of issues caused by our group and Veronica was very helpful in getting the issues resolved and was very understanding.

Holy Week in Kansas

We took the opportunity to visit our daughter in Shawnee, KS for the week leading up to Easter (Holy Week). The house was in the perfect location. It was very clean and perfect for our family.

Perfect stay

The whole family and the dog loved the stay! Plenty of room and was closed to everything we did. Safe and quiet neighborhood! The bed were comfy! Host was very accommodating and quick with response! We would definitely book again! Thank you for a great stay!

Overall was good stay

Clean house, good location, good resopnse from host when had questions. Address on Vrbo is wrong so had hard time finding the place. Crazy cat lady next door walked in without knocking looking for her cat at 9pm.

Nice house, but has issues.

House is in a nice area, close to shopping. Beds were comfortable. House was clean. Nice pool table. Our stay was good, but there are issues with the house. The host takes hours to return any messages including needing the code to check in. The house number is wrong on VRBO, doesn’t come up on maps. No hair dryer even though it is listed in the VRBO. No extra toilet paper, had to run out on our last day to get more. Broken towel rack in bathroom, no blinds or curtains on one of the bedroom windows. While playing pool, a mouse ran out from under the couch and into a hole in the bottom of the stairs. Host was notified, but she never responded back. Hopefully, she will be getting an exterminator.

Not as happy as other reviewers

This was the first time in which I was not completely satisfied with a VRBO property. Typically, when the ratings for a property are at least 9/10, I have no issues. However, this time, I was unable to get in contact with the property owner on the check in day and did not receive an access code until I got VRBO involved. Check in time was 4pm, but it was around 4:40pm when I finally received the code and we had an event that evening that we needed to prepare for. Dirty wash cloths were still hanging in the master bath area and there were towels in the dryer, so I am wondering how well the place was cleaned before our arrival. The back patio and yard were also in need of upkeep. On the positive side, the location worked out well since we had our event in western Shawnee. The home is in a nice neighborhood that is very quiet.

One of the best VRBO experiences I’ve ever had! Amazing property!

From start to finish, the host Veronica made reserving this property a breeze! In addition, she was extremely accommodating and allowed my family and I to check in early so that we didn’t miss the Chiefs’ Christmas game. The neighborhood was quiet, and the property was spotless, extremely well maintained and even had a Christmas tree set up for some added holiday decor. Every single amenity that was promised to us was there, and Veronica was very responsive and provided phenomenal service to us throughout our stay. Some members of my family (like my 93 year old grandmother and 95 year old great aunt had never had the pleasure of staying in a vacation rental property like this one, however they were also very impressed with the experience overall. It was extremely easy for them to get into the house without having to deal with any stairs based on being able to utilize the garage area to get to the finished basement. The pool table and games were an added hit for my entire family - we all truly had a great holiday celebrating at this property. Thank you again Veronica for all of your help and support in making this an incredible experience overall! We will definitely be back and utilize your property whenever we are in town in the future!
