Summary:

La Residence 4 #P7 is ideally located on the Green line shuttle route to Eagle Lodge and half a mile away from the heart of Mammoth near Vons, the Mammoth Ice Rink, and delicious restaurants like the Warming Hut or Giovanni's!



The Space:

You'll enter from the living room in this 2-story condo. The living room has a warm wood-burning fireplace, Smart TV (please log into your own accounts), and DVD player. Bring some board games along and get some friendly competition with a glass of wine!



The kitchen is equipped with a drip coffee pot, toaster, blender, electric stovetop and more. Enjoy homemade dinners after a long day on the slopes or grill up some burgers on the gas BBQ, located on the balcony. The dining area has seating for 4.



The master bedroom is on the first floor and has a King bed. The loft area is fitted with a Queen bed. There is a full bathroom on each floor.



There are 2 outdoor parking spaces. The La Residence 4 condo complex BBQ stations, spa, tennis court, and pool are only open during the summer. The coin laundry is available to guests.



Due to COVID, there are changes in ski resort availabilities. Please make sure to check the ski resorts’ policies on reservations and tickets if you plan on hitting the slopes. We cannot provide refunds based on reservation inabilities at the ski resorts.





Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in arranging.



This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.

Great condo for a family visiting Mammoth Ski area

The condo was perfect. It was very comfortable, had all the essentials and was close to the common hot tub and close to the Mammoth mountain shuttle bus. I loved the organization within the unit with labels and instructions.

Great location and great size of property. The kitchen was spacious and nice. We loved the layout. This places is really dated. It really needs better cleaning....

Nice home with great parking

Nice home with plenty of kitchen items! Master king bed downstairs is very comfortable, parking is easy and near unit. Bring your own coffee for the coffee pot, filters in the drawer (thank goodness). Comfy couches, nice TV in living room WITH cable. Wood burning fireplace really heated up the house nicely. Please note the key needs to be picked up and returned at the rental office. Bathroom needs updating but clean and there was plenty of hot water. Generous supply of cleaning supplies (soap, dishwasher pods, dish soap, paper towels, etc)! Overall, we would rent again.

La Residence comfort & relaxing

We stay previously at this Unit in La Residence, but we seen the change with VRBO & Grand Welcome property management team. Much more organized, clean, professional Corp., all around! Previously my family used to stay at another unit in La Residence unit for over 20 years, during summer & ski season. The owner sold the unit but finding VRBO, La Residence unit was perfect replacement. We had a great weekend just relaxing at the lakes and fishing, relaxing!!

Great spot in the mountains!

We got this VRBO for the Fourth of July weekend. It was the first time in Mammoth for both of us. The condo was exactly as listed, very clean, comfortable, and centrally located. The Wifi was very fast, TV easy enough to use, and the full kitchen was great, even though we did NO cooking in the condo. The pool and jacuzzi weren't up to our standards, but we have a jacuzzi at home and it's hard to beat. I found the bed very comfortable, and couches were the same. There was a fireplace available but we didn't need the extra warmth. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a nice place in Mammoth.

Love this place.

This end unit is tastefully decorated. Very quiet. The unit does have a moth problem. Grand Welcome sent a maintence crew to spray the unit. Couldn't kill them all. We were told that it's a problem in the whole neighborhood. Other than that, everything else is perfect.

Good trip

Great place with good location. Took my two boys for a little spring break ski trip. The unit is perfect for us being that it has one and a half bathrooms and plenty of room to stretch out for a family of four even though my wife didn’t go. My only two real gripes is that the check in process is rather antiquated considering all the technology at our fingertips. My other gripe was that I tried using the fireplace, and every time I tried to light the fire smoke was billowing through the dampener into the unit. I talked to management and they said they would send somebody to look. Not sure if they ever showed or not as we were skiing the next morning. Try it again that evening and the same result. Not sure if it had something to do with all the snow and ice that was built up. We still had a great time and would consider renting this unit again

Clean, nice, quiet

The property is in a central location to all Mammoth has to offer. The condo is small, but cozy and just what we needed for our last-minute getaway. A couple of minor issues. Internet did not exist. Wifi was weak and the signal dropped constantly. When I contacted management, I was told fires in the area were disrupting signals everywhere. Um, okay, but my better guess is that the router is entirely too weak for the streaming and other devices. Also, the bedsheets don’t fit the king bed. The fitted sheet kept coming up at the corners and the top sheet wasn’t long enough to tuck in. I know it’s minor, but a good night’s sleep on vacation is a must. Also, could have used more kitchen linens. I did not contact the management about the sheets, so that’s on me, but it’s a detail worth mentioning. Otherwise, again, it was a nice, clean place to stay and perfect for the three of us who just needed to relax in the evenings after long days of exploring everything from Convict Lake to Mammoth mountain to Yosemite.

Nice enough place, but didn't meet needs of a family

Cozy condo and I'm sure would work great for some people, but didn't quite meet the needs of our family. Apartment is a 1 Bedroom + loft and not a full 2 bedroom as the ad implies. I realize now that if I had looked at the photos closer I would have noticed it was a loft and not a 2nd bedroom, but oh well. It is upstairs so keep that in mind if have a lot of gear or young kids. Coin operated laundry is not too far away, but there is no coin machine and absolutely no laundry supplies are provided. Neither tub would work for us. No lighter or matches were supplied for the fireplace. A lot of the kindling and firewood were 2x4s, moldings and other pieces that looked like they came from a construction site. Some even had adhesives and other stuff attached to the wood. We didn't use those pieces =) Good location near bus stops for multiple lines and not too far from restaurants and stores. Easy drive to village and canyon lodge. Management company was super responsive and friendly. Won't stay at this location again, but would have no issues staying at another property managed by this company.
