Everything was amazing! Great place to stay. Seconds from great snorkeling and beautiful beach. Walking distance to many restaurants! Enjoyed every minute. Even the grounds worker was great. Very polite and nice to see his smiling face every morning around the property!

I will 100% come back here again! The location is absolutely perfect, the beach is steps from the patio in one direction and a heated pool in the other direction. The inside of the unit is a perfect size, all kitchen needs are met, including a Keurig, coffee pods, real coffee, and to go coffee cups, spices and oil that way you don’t have to buy everything at the grocery store. Speaking of the grocery store, it is walking dishes away, along with several fabulous restaurants. The taxi they recommended was very reliable since uber and Lyft are not hereThe owner is Extremely kind, quick to respond, and very accommodating.

We were very fortunate to find this property! Property is very well located, with a view of beach from the patio door. Numerous restaurants and shopping (including grocery and liquor store) all within easy walking distance. Short walk to Camana Bay complex. Walking beautiful 7 mile beach every day was amazing! We certainly hope to return!! Joel was very responsive.

We loved the beachy vibe of the decor, the location of the condo (both the location of the condo within the complex and also the location on Seven Mile Beach), the amenities and maintenance of the unit and the entire complex. Special kudos go to maintenance man, Leon. He’s a keeper! We also felt completely safe during our entire stay.

The location of this condo is perfect. Right on Seven Mile Beach and a central location to do all of the fun things. Joel responded promptly whenever I would message him. He was very helpful with ideas of things to do and places to eat. Every restaurant he recommended that we ate at was very good. The condo was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The whole condo facility was very well kept up.

Great Unit and Super Location

Great place to stay!

This place is fantastic! We loved our stay so much. The condo has everything you need. We loved being able to cook and do laundry. The condo is updated, clean, and tastefully decorated. It is just steps away from an amazing view of the water. HUGE thanks to Joel for working with us after two flight cancellations and adjusting our days for our stay.

Quick Visit, but wished we could have stayed longer.

Went for a quick visit with family, but would have loved to stay longer. This unit was amazing, it is perfectly set up for two people and can accommodate four comfortably. Beautifully decorated unit, that has all the amenities you could want. We didn’t drive this trip, we walked everywhere the location of this resort is fantastic. Beach front, and pool we’re fantastic. When returning we will not hesitate to book this unit again, and will recommend this unit to my friends and family.

Only two trash bags and one roll of TP in condo was not enough for 8 days. Other than that the facility and unit were great

6 Night Stay

The condo was perfect for our 6 night vacation. It has its own sizable “private” beach area (locked in by surrounding buildings as 7 mile beach has receded and you can no longer walk the whole stretch). The condo itself was fully furnished (beach towels too!) and had all the cooking utensils we needed. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance. We rented a car to get around to other parts of the island (highly recommend) and we were grateful for free parking at the condo. All in all, highly recommend!

Everything you want!

We really enjoyed staying at this condo. It was far cheaper than any of the hotels on the beach and allowed us to do laundry, cook meals, store food in the fill size refrigerator, etc. Walking out to the beach from the back porch was unbelievably convenient especially with a 4 year old. I enjoyed jogging up and down the main drag for my morning workouts and many places were a short walk. We did rent a car which allowed us to go to other amazing snorkel and dinner locations each day. You can tell the owners really care about their property and they checked in with us upon arrival and during the stay. They have done an exceptional job with upgrading their condo and having anything you may need during your stay: umbrella, chairs, blow up mattress, etc. I felt lucky to have booked this because I procrastinated a bit, but I guess everything happens for a reason!

Perfect location!

While we had an initial hiccup with access to the unit upon arrival, Joel responded to our email and we were finally able to get in. The furniture has been updated and everything you need is in the unit (except for shampoo, soap, etc.). The condo is situated with perfect access to the beach and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc. Most excursions offered pick up service - otherwise we took a taxi, the bus, or walked down the beach to the pick up point. I would add that you should not really rely on the office personnel to assist as they are in and out a lot. They are most helpful when they are in - but are not in much. This part of the island was so beautiful and peaceful and the water/sand were amazing. The condo served us perfectly as it provided a place to have breakfast and lunch and cut down on meal expenses. We really enjoyed our vacation and can't wait to get back!

Spacious and clean 1 BR unit!

Have been to this location and facility for 15+ years, and it is the first time we stayed in this unit. It is a VERY spacious 1 BR. Moreso, than others we have been in since interior has glassed in porch as an extension of the living area. This is a very smart use of space by the owner, since you are steps away from the beach anyway. We have found that other 1 BR's that keep this screened in, seem much, much smaller and we don't even use it anyway! Very clean and kitchen is extremely well equipped with anything/everything you could need; very pleased with this. Had coffee maker, crock pot, lots of pots/pans, utensils, storage containers, etc. Owner was very easy to deal with and responsive. Made renting a breeze. Very well groomed facility and has tennis courts, and pool as well. Its a very quiet facility in general, a lot of long term renters, so it has a more relaxing feel than say a hotel that has such high turnover. I 100% would recommend this unit and this owner and we will absolutely rent again from him if we have need of a 1 BR again.

Cayman reef #35

Location of the Cayman Reef resort was perfect. Near some good places to eat as well as being only a 5 minute drive to George Town. Beautiful stretch of beach .....probably the nicest beach I have ever seen. Unit 35 is literally 40 steps to the beach and has a view through the glassed in porch of the ocean. Pool is only another 40 steps in the opposite direction of the beach and is well kept. For the price the condo was worth it however the cable television did not work properly our entire stay. Basically we were without tv. I would also say that overall the condo needs some updating. That is not to say it was not comfortable but just needs some new touches. I would strongly encourage potential visitors to select a place that has satellite tv as I did hear people say that cable tv on the island was very suspect. Restaurants we would highly recommend are Tim Buc Too, Cimboco, Chicken Chicken and our favorite was Sunshine Grill. If you are staying on 7 mile beach Do NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO RUM POINT. It is about a 45 minute drive and the beach is not nearly as nice as the one you are on. A must side trip is to snorkel and go to Sting Ray City. I highly recommend going with aquaseatours and captain Mario. The trip is 45 dollars a person and includes a stop at Star fish beach as well.

Yes there are some issues with cable TV. However the beautiful beach and beautiful sunsets make up for it.

Wonderful condo on a beautiful beach

We just returned from a one week stay at this condo and absolutely loved it. This is our favorite location along seven mile beach as there are so many things to do, many within easy walking distance. Dining options abound, from the casual to the upscale. Within walking distance, we went to Chicken Chicken, A La Kebab, Karma, Treats, Royal Palms, and Agua and had great meals at all. Chicken Chicken has very generous portions and often brought food home, put it in the refrigerator, and enjoyed a second meal. Royal Palms is right next door...had great food overlooking the water and even dancing one night. Treats offered wonderful smoothies and made some dairy-free ones, too. Their lunch was also very good...the blackened grouper sandwich was so flavorful, we went back the next day to get another. Agua was our nicest meal out...their outdoor patio is beautiful and I tried ceviche for the first time. Yum! A La Kebab for Mediterranean gyros and falafel and Karma for a vegan option (earth bowl) and sushi and a lovely outdoor eating area. On the activity front, we went next door to Royal Palms and rented a jet ski and a stand up paddleboard one day. Had a great time on both. The snorkeling right outside the condo was phenomenal. We saw a stingray and loads of fish. We snorkeled almost every day right off the shore and always saw something new. The condo itself is really nice. Plenty of beach towels so didn't have to worry about bringing those. Had a dishwasher and washer/dryer which made traveling so much easier. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc. The wifi zipped along...my daughter said it was even faster than our one at home. Joel was great to work with and our vacation was filled with many wonderful family moments. Thank you!

Thanks for the great review. As mentioned previously, the reason we bought this specific condo after many trips to a Grand Cayman, is because of all the positive things you stated about the great location on Seven Mile Beach.

Cayman Paradise Rental

Posting and photos on VRBO was accurate description of condo. Owner was extremely helpful throughout the process, answering questions and providing tips on what to do in Cayman. Positives: -Great location. Only 50 steps from one of the best beaches in the world (IMO). 7-mile beach is wonderful. Very soft white sand the beach and well into the water; very calm water (probably protected by a reef way out there). Safe for kids. OK snorkeling was available about 50 feet offshore. Sunsets were amazing everynight; many people at the complex sat outside every night by the beach to watch the sunset. -Walking distance to many restaurants. Wendy’s was directly across the street for a quick bite. We also enjoyed Cimboco for local food. Other restaurants we walked to were Chicken-Chicken, Quiznos, Marriott (3), and another bar nearby on the beach. - You could rent SUPs, kayaks, waverunners etc at Marriott nearby. - We rented a car from Andy’s Rental (5 minute walk) and drove to George Town (tourist section for the cruise ships), Turtle Farm, Hell, Rum Point, Starfish Point. Taxi’s and buses are also available (buses are actually very cheap if you take the time to figure them out). Every place takes US$ so no need to change money; although you get back Cayman$ in change. Negatives (minor): - Cayman is expensive. You just have to get over spending $100+ for each decent meal for a family of 4 (Even Wendy’s was $40!) and paying 2x normal US prices for everything else even in the grocery stores. Not sure how people live there all the time. - Walking to the nearest grocery store was a bit far. There are two nearby, but it was about a 20 minute walk either way along a busy street, so not easy if you don’t have a car. Grocery stores closed on Sundays, but open to 11 pm most other days. There is a gas station (Rubis) very close that has most essentials when in a pinch. - No bar soap or shampoo was provided - bring your own. Toilet plugged easily, but plunger was provided to unplug - Cruise ships come in almost every day and overwhelm some of the planned activities (didn’t impact traffic on our 7 mile beach thankfully). Plan any activities away from 7 mile beach around cruise ship times. There are several websites that show times they are in port so plan accordingly. George Town tourist areas close down after 5 pm when cruise ships leave.

You are right downtown is busy when the cruise ships are in. Fortunately our beach remains peaceful and quiet even when the cruise people come to Grand Cayman. The area around our beach does not get affected by the cruise people. Cayman is expensive, but the beauty of Seven Mile Beach and the safety of the island make it worthwhile. Thanks for the review.

Wonderfully renovated well stocked condo in an excellent location. Very convenient to walk 20 or so steps to the beautiful and coveted Seven Mile Beach. The chairs and umbrellas suppled by the property on first come basis are really nice to have available as well. I would definitely recommend this condo and stay here again.

The condo was as in the pictures and the ocean and location was wonderful. The condo had everything you need to cook yourself ( we shopped daily at Fosters which was a short walk away). Only complaint would be that there was not enough toilet paper (only 2 rolls for 7 days was provided) and only 1 roll of paper towel. We had to buy both. I would consider this a basic at this price point. Additionally there was quite a bit of noise in the bedroom everytime the upstairs unit flushed the toilet or ran their washer/dishwasher.The property itself is beautiful and always clean the property staff works very hard and it shows.Access in and out of the property was very easy.We did not rent a car but the public bus was very easy to use and is 2.50usd per ride per person.We recommend the property to others and hope to be back soon.

We decided to buy this property because after 25 years of travel to various Caribbean Islands, Europe, the Mediterranean, Central America and South America, we always return to the Cayman Islands. This is where we have always felt the safest. We have had some medical emergencies while visiting in the Cayman Islands and have received great local medical care. We are now traveling with our grandchildren. The Cayman Islands provide us a safe, care-free vacation destination . The scuba diving and snorkeling is fantastic. This portion of the Seven Mile Beach is the nicest and closest to restaurants, shopping and various amenities.

The beautiful view from the enclosed deck and lovely sunset convinced us that Cayman Reef Resort and specifically unit # 35 is the condo to buy. Those long lazy walks on the white sand beach and the tantalizing dips in the warm Caribbean sea, sold us on this home.
