We take the condition of our property and the experience of our guests very seriously. However the statements in this review do not accurately reflect the condition of the home during this stay. The claims appear to be an attempt to justify a request for full reimbursement and free stay. The guest attempted to obtain reimbursement through VRBO after their stay, and the claim was reviewed and ultimately denied. The guest completed their stay despite the complaints. Although the guest’s request for a full reimbursement was denied by VRBO, we issued a $400 credit as a goodwill gesture. Additionally, the property is located in a mountainous, rural area surrounded by natural wildlife. While we take regular preventive measures, occasional wildlife activity can occur in this type of environment. We ask all guests to properly dispose of trash in the designated containers to prevent attracting wildlife. Our home is professionally cleaned and maintained between each guest. We encourage any guest who experiences an issue during their stay to contact us immediately so we can address it promptly. We take pride in the space, ample parking, and accommodations our property provides, and many guests have enjoyed comfortable stays here. We remain committed to providing a positive experience for our guests.

A few days after completing their stay, the guest filed a credit card chargeback through VRBO, which was reviewed and denied. While we take all guest feedback seriously, this rating appears to be a response to the denied chargeback by VRBO.
