The Peninsula is 5-star luxurious condominium complex located right on the beach overlooking Banderas Bay. The property has many amenities, a huge infinity pool, wading pool, theater, beautiful very spacious lobby, elevators, business center, library, 24-hr security and parking. The complex is surrounded by reflection pools giving the illusion of being on its own island.

Very spacious beachfront condo, tastefully decorated, fully equipped kitchen, amazing ocean views.

The complex is centrally located, a short distance to Peninsula Shopping Plaza,and La Isla Mall, restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets and banks, downtown and the `Romantica Zone` are within a short taxi drive. The condo is also conveniently located close to the Marina and Boardwalk.

There are many restaurants, bars, and cafes within close vicinity of the complex for the guests` enjoyment. There is also little souvenir shops and a mall for shopping.

Uber is available through the app if the guest does not have their own transportation. Airport transfers are also available for an additional fee.

Our family was very pleased with the accommodations at this condominium. 4th floor balcony view of the pool and beach was fantastic and access to the beach and ocean was extremely easy. Figuring out how / when to access the pool bar staff took a day or two, but once we learned the names and routine of the grill staff, ordering food and drinks at the pool was easy. This condo was spacious and offered a large area for watching tv or playing games in the evening; having 3 full bathrooms made it easy for everyone to shower-up for nightly trips into PV. Taxi and Uber pickup was a short 3-4 minute walk down to the main street. Would definitely stay here again.

We paid approximately 6,000 CAD for a one-week stay, and our expectations were minimal: a clean, functional condo. Unfortunately, this rental failed on every basic level.Two days before arrival, we were notified by the owner—who manages the property remotely from Texas—that they had terminated their local property manager in Puerto Vallarta. We were also told the washer was broken and the dryer “might” work. Upon arrival, a new washer/dryer sat uninstalled in the unit.It quickly became obvious why the previous manager was fired. The condo was extremely dirty and clearly not prepared for guests. We were greeted by a housekeeper who, due to a language barrier, could not explain how the condo functioned or answer basic questions.The beach access keys did not work, and it took several days to resolve—unacceptable for a beachfront rental. When installers arrived to set up the washer/dryer, they tracked dirt throughout the unit, further soiling the floors. We did not feel comfortable leaving our personal belongings unattended, so we were forced to supervise the installation.After all this disruption, the washer/dryer installed was a cheap, bottom-tier unit, completely inconsistent with the price point.Most disturbing was a bathroom ceiling leak, where water dripped down whenever the upstairs unit flushed their toilet. Unsanitary and disgusting.This property is grossly overpriced, poorly maintained, and badly managed. This was not a relaxing vacation.

We had a minor check in issue (not owners fault) but the owner took care of it and gave us a different room that was even nicer! So I can't comment on the other room since we stayed in a different one, but I'm giving five stars as to the way that the owner took care of the problem and went out of her way to get it fixed and get us a different room that was even nicer. The condo complex security was awesome, the place was in a great location with lots of things around, and the pool was excellent. If we come back to Mexico this is where we will stay again!

Nice condo but host has room to improve.

I had a mixed experience at this vacation rental in Tower 3, which offered a spacious condo with stunning bay views but was marred by operational and quality control issues.Check-in was frustrating. Despite completing all forms online beforehand, the system had no record of them, forcing me to redo everything on arrival. There was no host on-site to greet or assist us; all communication was via text, which felt impersonal and inefficient. The property details provided also lacked critical information, like the tower and condo number, causing a 15-minute delay at the security gate as we waited for the property manager to respond.Tower 3’s strict HOA rules created an uncomfortable atmosphere. No visitors were allowed, and staff constantly monitored our actions, making us feel more like inmates than guests. The administration office was unhelpful, with a standoffish attitude clearly prioritizing owners over rental guests’ concerns.The condo itself was a highlight—spacious, well-located, and close to tourist spots. However, several issues detracted from the stay. The smoke alarm chirped every 30 seconds due to a low battery, forcing me to remove it to sleep, which was unsettling. The kitchen cutting boards had mold, requiring a replacement set from the property manager the next day. The A/C remote in the master bedroom had a dead battery, and there was no guest binder to explain how to use appliances, amenities, TVs, or the heating and cooling systems.

Good stay and good location

The housekeeper greeted us and showed us where everything was and how things work. The veiws are great, the breeze off the ocean was good. Centrally located between the marnia and old town and easy walk or UBER to where you needed to go. The port was a 15 minute walk. Private beach and the condo staff was great and helped us with anything we needed. Great little place around the corner called Cafe Top. Had great food reasonably priced as well as coffee and smoothies. Excellent Diego steak and shrimp tacos. My only complaint was the beds mattresses were to hard for me

Great Location

The property manager was easy to reach and the condo unit has a great view of the ocean and beach. There were a couple of issues with power outage and water heater problem leading to a serious water leak. Property is located within walking distance to shopping and a variety of eateries. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Great location.

Property was as advertised- larger than expected. It was a perfect place for our family. We had 5 adults a 3 year old and an 18 month old. The pools and beach were amazing. Kitchen was well equipped and we were able to walk to Costco and supermarkets. Nelly was great to work with. Restaurants close by and security top notch.

Right on the Beach

This condo has beautiful views. There is always something to watch on the water full: whales, sky, divers, cruise ships, and boats. Communication with the property manager was excellent. The on-site housekeeper/maintenance person was also excellent. Be mindful that from 3 PM until sunset, the deck is in full sun. We found it was too hot for us. Easy walking distance to restaurants.

Great location. Nice unit, but needs some lightbulbs replaced. Beautiful pool and beach. Nice grounds. Helpful staff. Some instructions on how to use cooktop, TV, etc. would be helpful, but property manager helped us.

What a dream vacation!

Property was fantastic! Perfectly incredible views of the ocean and sunsets (which we enjoyed nightly). Great poolside service that was complimented the tranquility of the entire property. The whole place was so peaceful; a welcome difference from the normal resort crowds and noise. Of course, if you want the party, it's a 5 min walk down the beach, but I only did that 2 of my 14 days. Off property, it was 5min walking distance to amazing restaurants (Porfirios / Leche). As opposed to even a nice hotel suite, the spaciousness of the condo was so comfortable I ended up staying a second week, and never got that “ugh, I miss my bed and my home” vacation burnout. At the last minute, I decided I wanted to stay another week and Nelly (the property manager) had it sorted out in just a couple of hours. She also had groceries delivered, and sent a chef to cook dinner for us in the condo. Beyond Nelly, the security guards were just on top of everything, especially calling trustworthy cab drivers to help us run errands, tour other parts of the city, shuttle us to excursions, and were basically on-call 24/7 for anything I asked for. I will NEVER stay at a resort/hotel again after this experience; and am actually discussing a month-long rental next year. If you're looking for full service with upscale tranquility, this is the place, and Nelly will be in touch daily to make sure everything is perfect. I can't believe I haven't traveled like this before.

the communication was great with the property manager but the condo could have been cleaned and dusted before our arrival. countertops had lots of tiny ants. when looking for additional sheets, there were some with either pee stains or other bodily functions which didn't appear to be washed. the location was great. the pools around the condo were amazing.

Good and Not So Good

Entering the property takes your breath away - it’s as nice as the photos show. However, it’s in need of some TLC: too many light fixtures with burned out bulbs; three of four bar stools that are stuck; kitchen faucet needs replacing etc etc. We were there with our son, his wife and our little grandson. On our second day we were plagued by ants. So much that we threw out all of our groceries. On the third day our young family couldn’t take it any more and moved to the Hilton resort and great additional expense. We were devastated to be deprived our of vacation with the little guy. What a disappointing vacation. The owner said there has never been a problem before. The owner next door told us she has been an owner for 15 years and it has always been a problem.

Largest pool in the area.

We loved how big the condo was. We had 5 adults and one kid and always felt like we all had our own space. The pool is absolutely huge! We would surely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time in PV and condo was so safe. The location was great and quiet at the pool. Nelly was amazing to deal with. Looking forward to coming back.

Great property! Great location!

The property was clean and all the appliances in good working order. Amazing location with a large pool area with pool service and direct beach access. There was good communication with the host when we had a few inquiries. Easy Uber access to downtown and the airport. Walking distance from the marina for excursions, groceries and restaurants. Great stay. A++!

Great location and condo - but the AC kept going out (in 90 degree high humid conditions) and the TV was almost totally in Spanish with no English options.

Property is exactly as listed and beautiful! Traveled with my 3 children and location and building are very safe. Pool area is a 10/10 and was not over crowded like resorts. Pool and beach area offer food and drink service. Recommend using the transportation services to and from airport. Close proximity to restaurants, stores, and other activities.

Tower 1, Unit 4C March 5-19. 2023

Upon arrival, I was shown around the unit by the housekeeper, who was very pleasant. She showed me where extra towels were, where cutlery, plates etc. were in the kitchen. There was no drinking water available - it came the following morining. A suggestion: It would be very helpful to have a binder available for reference about how to operate appliances. It is a simple thing - most appliances have instructions in English, French, Spanish etc. A simple photocopy would have been appreciated. A friend staying in another unit had to explain how to use the stove/range. It is NOT intuitive. Using the TV was another problem which we had to contact Nelly about twice. Nelly was not able to contact the housekeeper, but finally found another employee and then told us to ask the Concierge. Again, instructions in English in a binder would have solved the problem. The binder could contain info about channels in English/French if available. I counted seven light bulbs out - including one over the stove/range in the kitchen and two in the master bathroom. Minor things?? Maybe, but frustrating. Nelly tried to contact the housekeeper over a couple of days with no success. Nelly was finally able to get one of the employees to change three bulbs, but not all. The binder could also include information for first-time visitors about some cultural aspects, For example, the expectations around tipping in grocery stores. We relied on friends staying in another unit to tell us about this.

The staff were ll very helpful and friendly. The views were awesome, morning and night. We loved the security and lovely grounds. The pools and the beach were great. We had people that loved to sleep outside on the daybed. We need to have lots of bug spray next time. It was a great vacation for all.

No fun in Paradise.

The Peninsula is one of the greatest places in PV. The only issue is all of the rules. Each tower is independently managed. The rules in Tower 3 were different from tower 1. The average age of the people who stay are over 65+. There is absolutely no fun to be had. Drinks are allowed in the pool in front of tower one in a closed cup, but not allowed in tower 2 or 3. You can use the jacuzzi as a short term renter in tower 3, but not in tower 1. You are not allowed to throw a ball or play music of any kind at any volume. But you are allowed to walk around talking on speaker phone endlessly, you are allowed to have screaming kids, and you must listen to the Dance club music next door from Thurs-Sun from 9 AM to 9 PM. Our friends staying at the resort down the street were not allowed to visit us at all. It's the rules. So we went to them. The rules are so unnecessary given the age of the crowd and the lack of parties. Be advised the old people if they catch you doing anything they think is wrong, like sitting a jacuzzi, will tattle. I have honestly never seen anything like it. The rooms are fine, the drinks and food are good. After being there twice, we won't be back until the associations that run the buildings learn to relax a little.
