Great property, pet friendly, pool was sufficient for our family. Have everything we needed and then some! Staff was very responsive to our texts, especially when somehow we locked ourselves out lol. I totally recommend renting from Cottages on the Key.

Lovely stay at Seahorse Cabana!

House was nice & clean. House & pool smaller in pictures though. Pool could have lower temperature since temps were in the 90's. Kitchen nicely stocked. Gear for the beach including caddy, towels, & chairs a plus. Mirrors missing in bedrooms would be nice. Only one game in house though. Grill was great to have. Area was nice & quiet. We came during red tide so that was awful. Couldnt stay on Crescent Beach due to dead fish, the horrible smell, & we were coughing. All calls handled right away except for lowering the pool temp. Thanks for everything.

Clean house close to the beach

We stayed at seahorse cabana. House was clean on arrival. 3 bedrooms and 2.5 br was a perfect set up for us. Kitchen had everything we needed except one burner on the stove worked intermittently. The unit had plenty of towels, including 5-6 beach towels which was very nice. All the sinks had hand soap already there. There were also dishwasher pods and dishwashing liquid upon arrival. The pool is a lot smaller than it looks in the picture and was not clean when we were there. The grill worked great and was a very nice amenity. The beach is about a .2 mile walk, which isn’t bad at all. Much of the beach is roped off for private hotels and it was often hard to find a spot that wasn’t super close to other people. The duplex had chairs, a wagon, and a cooler for the beach which was really nice to have especially if you fly in. The wagon, however, had a broken wheel, so it was hard to pull. The chairs were quite worn and rusted. The umbrella was missing the bottom of the pole so it was not usable. We thought about buying a new one and just leaving it, but it ended up being nice and breezy enough that we didn’t end up using one. Be aware that this is a duplex and you have another party sharing the pool area with you. It worked out fine for us because the other tenants didn’t use the pool very much. It may be problematic if both parties had kids and enjoyed the pool because, as mentioned earlier, the pool is very small. There are many restaurants within walking distance and several places had live music until 10 o’clock which was fun. The village area is an easy drive and had lots of shops and things to do. We drove to Lido beach one day. It was an easy drive and had a much less crowded beach, shopping, restaurants etc. All in all, the condo and amenities worked fine for us and I appreciate the cleanliness of the unit. I think some things could use some updates.

Older property needs pest control and updates

Property had bugs in the kitchen though no food was out on counters and garbage was taken out daily. Cabinets and drawers have faux veneers that are coming off, one stove burner doesn't work. Master bedroom has no wall outlets and gets extremely warm at night, nowhere to plug in oscillating fan. Property is ok overall but for the price paid, it could've been better. Pool area needs pest control, we were overcome with mosquito bites and found it difficult to use the pool much after the first day or so.

This property was extremely clean and was just like the pictures portray. Close to beach access as well as bars/restaurants. There were a few downsides such as 2 windows being left open slightly and we would not have known that until I checked them our first night. Also, the TV in the living room was stuck on 1 channel. We called to have it reset and it was reset to another channel and still wouldn't move. The TVs in the bedrooms worked perfectly. The major downside was our neighbors. The people in the attached cabana had 4 adults and 5 children. They are "VIPs" of the rental company, so are rewarded for staying there. They took over the entire property with their bikes, baby strollers. towels, toys, etc. (including parking their bikes in front of our lanai close to our door). They also only communicated with each other in yelling voices. This started at 7:30 am and went on until well after 11pm. The rental agency should have put them in the cabana nearest the pool because they took over that area and were constantly in front of our windows yelling. In 7 days we never even put a toe in the pool (which was one of the reasons we rented) because they monopolized it. They had so many people there that it would have been impossible to enjoy even a dip in the water. Again, these people are considered "VIPs" of the company. The cabana is beautiful, but be prepared to potentially share with loud, rude neighbors.

Somewhat clean. Cabinetry in kitchen falling apart. Laundry down right crappy.... rusty and dirty. Grounds fairly un kept. General cleanliness was so-so. Do Not Recommend.

Nice fit

We really enjoyed staying at this location. Not far from the beach and nice area. The only thing that we wanted was a bigger pool. The pool is smaller in person, but is good for relaxing and small kids. All in all we had a wonderful time and would recommend this rental to our friends.
