I am so glad you enjoyed your stay in our home, and loved the Storey Lake Resort as much as we do! I am very sorry the showers were not cleaned properly. I will make sure this is handled with housekeeping, and won't take place again! Can't wait to ses you again very soon!

Hello. Thank you again for booking with us. We appreciate your business, and always value feedback to better our guest's experience. I am sorry you had a few issues, and want to quickly address those. This is not the first review I have received about GPS, so I want to hit on that first. Storey Lake Resort is a brand new resort, and does not show up in GPS or Google maps. It will probably take a few years for Google to catch up. They have become the end all with maps, so if it doesn't show up there it doesn't show up on GPS. When guests check in, we give them DETAILED instructions on how to get to the house. There is also a 24 hour guard at Storey Lake to guide guests to the home. We cannot be held responsible for GPS systems when we give detailed directions. In regards to the cleaning. That's unacceptable, and has already been handled internally. I truly hardly ever receive cleaning complaints, but I am sorry you walked into this. We use one of if not the best cleaning company in this area. We will always go back to clean a property if requested if something was missed. Aslo, I have inspectors that work just for us that normally always catch these issues. I do see something that was not mentioned in the review. As an apology, we gave a free night on the reservation and refunded that $. I feel like the compensation should have been reflected in the review since that was our apology, but it was not mentioned. I hate to hear that we won't be having you again, and I do apologize again about the cleaning issues you had in the house.
