Stunning view!

A few of my family members were visiting me from Kansas and I booked this VRBO for them. They had a wonderful time and absolutely loved the view! They said the place was clean and beautiful and had all they needed to enjoy their stay.

Wonderful

Easy beach access. You can listen to the ocean all night. However if you struggle with stairs this is not the place for you.

We had a great time in Oceanside—the location of this unit is truly amazing and within walking distance to everything, which made exploring with kids very easy. However, several issues made our stay less comfortable. The stairs leading to the unit are extremely narrow, making it difficult to carry items up and down. We brought bikes (which I highly recommend for this area since it’s very walkable and bike-friendly), but there is no garage or storage, so we had to carry them up and down the stairs each time—very inconvenient. One of the beds had a duvet with a large yellow stain. I contacted the host, and to their credit, they brought a clean replacement the next morning. The shower in one of the bathrooms was leaking. I reported it right away, but it was never fixed during our stay. Thankfully, there was a second bathroom with a bathtub, which we ended up using the entire time.We also used the shared laundry, but when we returned to pick up our items (towels, bathing suits, and shorts), they were gone, which was very frustrating.Additionally, there is active construction next door, so be prepared for significant noise throughout the day.Overall, while we absolutely loved Oceanside and would definitely come back to the area, we would not choose to stay in this particular unit again.

This property sits in the heart of one of the most vibrant and scenic coastal neighborhoods in Southern California. This location offers a perfect blend of beachside charm and community warmth. Nestled along the coastline, it provides stunning ocean views, soothing sea breezes, and the calming sound of waves crashing on the shore ideal for anyone seeking tranquility and inspiration.

The neighborhood is alive with activity, featuring a mix of locals and visitors enjoying the iconic Oceanside Pier, charming harbor, and local shops. The Strand is a favorite for walking, biking, and skating, while the beachfront provides endless opportunities for relaxation, beach volleyball, or simply soaking up the sun.

What I enjoy most about this neighborhood is the sense of connection it fosters. Mornings often start with the scent of fresh coffee from local cafés and the sight of surfers catching the early waves. Evenings are magical, with fiery sunsets painting the sky as people gather around beach fire pits or enjoy waterfront dining. It's a place where you can feel at home while still being part of a dynamic, thriving community.
