We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused by the elevator being out of service during your visit. We understand how difficult it can be to carry luggage up the stairs, and we appreciate your suggestion about better communication ahead of time. Since the elevator is managed by the building association, outages can sometimes occur unexpectedly, but we agree that guests should always be promptly informed when they do. Regarding the thermostat, we’re sorry for the confusion and discomfort. Some units do have remote climate monitoring for efficiency and maintenance purposes, but we understand how important it is for guests to feel in full control of their comfort settings.
