Once we arrived we were informed the elevator wasn't working. It was 7-8 flights of stairs up with our luggage and food. The host didn't inform us during booking that this was the case and they knew. The property and location were nice. Big Buts..The host didn't have a key to the front door and the front door key hole looked very tampered with. The doors to the stair well and other common areas were taped open. On the 2cd day of our stay the key fob stopped working. We couldn't get back into the unit. A locksmith had to come and break into the unit for the host. The managment didn't want us around while the locksmith opened the unit. Because apparently the same thing happen earlier in the week and a different locksmith couldn't get in. They had to use a ladder from a different unit. The locksmith didn't agree with maangement and wanted us present during his work as all our items were in the unit. We were locked out for five hours and ended up missing the play which was the reason we were visiting. Once in we got our things and left. Terrible experience with the host. He was very vague on the phone and when we asked for a refund as we didn't feel safe staying the secound night, he called my wife a B on the phone and hung up. Fortunaly we recorded the locksmith situation and the phone call. Be aware before booking this location with this host. This is the only bad review I have ever made regarding a rental property.
