It would have been nice to have beach chairs. I would recommend this property IF the gate key issue is fixed. It was a big frustration, as we had to ask other parties to open the gates for us. We had handicapped people in our party and it made it very difficult for them.

Great time !

The condo was spotless on arrival. The view from the balcony of the beach was the best part for us. The sunsets every night were spectacular. We loved the area very much, There are so many restaurants and stores. Our favorite place was John’s Pass. Lots of fun!

Amazing location and condo

Emerald Isle is wonderful! This is our second time staying there! This specific unit was wondering. Loved the decor and vibe. Having a washer and dryer was great too:) Will definitely book again:)

Need a new toilet in master bath as current one does not have much "flush power." Takes 2-3 flushes and/or plunging to get to clean. Keys for all adults. At least 2 luggage carts especially for move in/out days. Grocery cart for hauling groceries. Bottom shelf in refrigerator was cracked. At least 3 recycle bins as current one fills up as soon as it's emptied. Sliding door to balcony is very hard to open. Needs to be replaced or greased. Thanks for a great time!

Reviewer Comments: We have rented condos with JC Resorts several times in the past and it was great to be back after 3 years of COVID-related postponements. We were, however, highly disappointed that the owner of Ram Sea 303 decided to cancel our reservation 6 weeks before our scheduled stay, which we found very disrespectful. So this owner gets a negative review and a thumbs-down from us and we will be advising people to avoid them. A huge thank you to Pam for finding us unit 203 at the Emerald Isle and saving our vacation! The unit was great and had everything we needed. The staff as always were great and we look forward to coming back one day. But we will continue to avoid Ram Sea unit 303, and so will anybody who listens to us.

Great location!

Overall this is a nice place to stay. Great location, beautiful views of beach but it could use some updates. The TV in the master bedroom did not work there was no TV in the other bedrooms. The main living room TV did not have access to your Netflix and things like that. The beds were extremely hard. We asked for toppers but they really only sent mattress pads. It definitely could use a deep cleaning. There was a lot of dust buildup and the door going out on the patio from the main bedroom was rusted and you could not get it to the really close. You could hear a lot of annoying noise from people going to and from the pool area which was right below.

No surprises based on previous reviews

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I will say I had somewhat low expectations for the unit based on previous comments and I actually was pleasantly surprised. The unit is very similar to others we have rented on N. Redington at similar price points. The things I would change were things I knew about upfront-the carpet in the bedrooms, the one parking space per unit and lack of guest parking, and the use of physical keys rather than key pad entry. These were all things that would make me think twice about staying at the property in the future but they did not ruin our week while we were there. We had one problem with the sliding glass door to the balcony being off track and hard to open/close and that was fixed right away. There were no beach towels provided or beach chairs but fortunately we are local and brought our own. Even for a holiday week, there were parking spaces that remained empty the entire week. The unit next to us was boarded up and obviously not being used. When I asked the property managers if we could use of the unused spaces for guest parking, we were told no. I was disappointed in the response given the spots went unused the entire week. We will probably look for a unit that does not have carpet and allows for two parking spaces next year. If things don't bother you than this would be a great condo to rent.

Great Location

The condo 203 was well stocked with plenty of linens and a fully equipped kitchen that met all of our needs however, the cleanliness was very disappointing! It was barely surface cleaned and the carpets were filthy in the bedrooms. The sliding glass doors to the balcony were very hard to open and close. Someone really needs to get in there an clean properly. The location is wonderful but I would really think twice about renting that particular unit again in the future. We were told we could have two parking spaces when we rented but upon arriving that wasn’t the case. 🥴

Beach was wonderful. Our room had a few issues.

Overall.. it was fine, but, beds were unbearable, comparable to sleeping on the floor. The carpet in the bedrooms was disgusting. Time for the nasty carpet to go. The staff was quick to respond to an air conditioning problem, It was promptly fixed.

Almost Perfect!

Everything was really great about this property. My daughter recently had knee surgery so we were looking for something very close to the water and this was it! The condo was great and very clean. The only drawback was the keys! Not sure I understand why there isn’t at least a keypad at the pool and beach. Having to keep up with keys (that sometimes didn’t work!) was really frustrating and truly, a little odd for 2022! The condo and location made it worth it but we definitely recommend updating the access!

Emerald Isle Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Visiting North Redington Beach is always an amazing experience for our family. This year was no different with amazing weather and the usual beautiful sights. However, Emerald Isle was a major disappointment. It was listed as a gold condo, but was far from that. From finding a half-pack of cigarettes upon arrival in a bedroom drawer to a lack of quality amenities was disturbing. And then needing a key to get through any door in the complex was ridiculous. There were only three keys and six of us. Truly annoying. (How about putting in a passcode system for guests to move about in the pool area, etc.?) We'll make sure we book the Ram Sea extra early for future visits, as that location typically meets and exceeds expectations. Finally, you have wonderful staff at the Ram Sea office. Pam in particular is soooo nice, friendly and helpful. Simply put she is exceptional!
