Fantastic home and location! We weee able to get around Acadia both to Bar Harbor and the Quiet side very easily.Well stocked kitchen, great towels, and awesome water pressure. The loft/nook was a great space and both bedrooms fit our friend reunion of 4 people perfectly. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

The cottage was just as described, very clean, fully equiped, great location and nice neighborhood.Marissa was a wonderful hostess I highly recommend her place. We were closs enough to Acadia but didn't have to deal with the congestion of Bar Harbor unless we wanted to. So glad we chose to stay here instead!

The location of the house was lovely, and the property has so much potential. But, it was not clean or stocked in the way the listing described. We had to buy our own toilet paper, tissues, and paper towels. There was no hair dryer or shampoo as described in the listing. The floors were messy and there were tons of cobwebs. The welcome candies expired in 2023.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely little cottage. We enjoyed the thoughtful decor as well as the new loft for reading! The skylights throughout the cottage helped to bathe the house in natural sunlight and brightened each room. The cottage was close to several places to eat as well as the park and Bar Harbor, where we enjoyed hiking and shopping during our 3 night stay. This stay was wonderful all the way around!

Family vacation

The house was wonderful and close to everything. My 16 year old loved the loft area. We found the Southwest Harbor area to be wonderful and will definitely stay again.

Charming Maine Stay

We enjoyed staying in the well-equipped house while visiting the Acadia area. Our teenager loved the loft! Both kids enjoyed the games while the parents enjoyed the backyard space.

I've put all my heart, tears, and sweat into renovating this house to give it the charm it has today. A labor of love! Come vacation with your family, relax in the new jet-tub, watch the stars from the backyard or wrap around porch, and learn first hand why this place is called "home."

The house is located on a quiet street in the town of Southwest Harbor. The best part, is it's walking distance to town and the stores, but quiet enough to get some true peace. I'm a 3 minute drive to the Long Pond entrance of Acadia National Park, where you can find gorgeous views and a few different hiking trails. It's you're looking for the Cadillac Mt entrance, it's a short 15-20 min drive across the island.

This house gives you everything you need for a perfect, restful get-away. As a home chef, the kitchen is stocked with all you need to prepare delicious meals. The wrap around porch gives you space to lounge outside and BBQ on the grill! With a loft ceiling and new loft space, cozy up under the stairs while reading a good book.
