Quick Family Visit

Location was great, check in was great, and condo was clean and comfortable. A smart TV would be good for the living room and I think it is time to replace the majority of the outlets because the plugs kept falling out.

Cute condo tucked away from the hustle and bustle

We enjoyed our stay at the river view condo. It was exactly as pictured and provided exactly what we needed. The check in process was easy and the management company was responsive. It is a more dated condo however everything works as intended and pictures are accurate. We would love to stay here again.

Awesome condo stay

So many wonderful things about this place! Great amount of firewood and fire starter for us to use over the 4 day stay. We had all the pots and pans ever needed to cook Christmas dinner, and the view was spectacular of the mountain. Walking to Ajax mountain was easy as can be with this awesome location. Thanks for giving us a late checkout time with my mom being sick. We truly appreciate your hospitality and the wonderful place you provided.

Family Week summer vacation in Aspen

The family had a great time mountain biking and hiking in the mountains around Aspen. The location is very convenient and very nice to walk around, the kitchen is well equipped; the only thing I wish the apartment would have are darker curtains on the windows so that the bedrooms are not too light to sleep. McCartney Property Management employees were very helpful when I called them asking for help; Overall I would like to rent this place again for another family summer vacation.

Great Location!

We loved the location of this condo ... very quiet neighborhood yet a quick 5-block walk into town and only minutes away from shuttle bus. Condo is starting to show its age, but otherwise we were very comfortable. We would like to have used the pool and the hot tub, but the ice-caked covers were never removed. Management was very helpful in accommodating our request for a late check-out. With an 8-inch snowfall during our first day of skiing, we were very happy campers! We enjoyed Aspen's hospitality and hope to return one day.

Thank you so much Gail for the review! We wish you would have called us about the pool and hot tub covers, as we would have told you to just remove them and replace after use. Since there is no management for that condo complex on site, there is no one there to do that. We're so glad you had a good time though, and hope to see you again on return trips to Aspen!

Good location, clean, very outdated and smells musty

Really nice location in West Aspen....walk to everything! The condo is clean, but as shown in the photos it is a very old condo and in near original condition. The condo was very musty smelling and even though I opened all the windows, I could still smell it. Also, note that you have to go to a central office near the airport to "check-in" and sign paperwork. What a hassle!

Hi Kristin, We are listening to our guests, and have revised our check-in process and are now checking in everyone remotely. Yes, this condo is very old school and the owner never comes out, so is only willing to spend any money on things that don't HAVE to be done. We know improvements can be made, and try to get the ok from the owner.

Very nice but could be perfect

This condo is an awesome location. Quiet neighborhood on the rotating fork. It needs new beds in the entire condo. The place is old and tired but we loved it. New mattresses and I would give this a 5-5. My kids feet hung off the trim beds. The queen mattress is impossible for two people to sleep on... it folds to the middle. Plumbing is also weird .... grest location nice area waking to downtown

Location close to town. Close to the public and free bus stop that took us to town and the other mountains. Very clean condo. Spacious and comfortable condo but needs some repairs. The sinks and bathtubs had non stop running water, the water did not stay warm for long and didn't allow for more than 1 shower of hot water (if all needed to get ready around the same time say to go out to dinner, the remaining people had luke warm if not cold showers). The clothes dryer didn't work (took 3- 4 cycles to dry clothes). Would have been nice to include dryer sheets and coffee filters. We do appreciate the coffee sample given however. The best part of the stay was not the condo itself (needs some painting and repairs) it was the property management team who were very quick to respond by email and were very helpful/kind. Thank you management team!

Great location but...

The management company was very responsive to all of our issues. However, ownership needs to do some serious updating. The outlets all need to be replaced. The plugs don’t stay in the outlets. The toilets are old and hardly flush. The Formica countertops and kitchen cabinets are old and need to replaced. All the faucets drip unless you turn them really hard. The best part was the beds. The sheets, comforters and towels were super nice. The radiator fried my suitcase. There should have been a warning sign. I think if the owner put a little money into the unit it would pay for itself.

Great stay!

Had a great stay here! The place is in a great location, super walkable to restaurants, shops, grocery stores etc (5-10 minutes) and about a 10 min walk to gondola! The place had great views, being located right on the river. Having 2 balconies was a plus! Fully stocked vrbo, would stay here again!

The view and sound of the raging river right outside our balcony made this condo very special. The location was perfect: just a 10 minute walk to downtown. The condo itself offered together and separate space for 2 couples. The management team made check-in and check-out super easy. Thanks!
