Ken was a great host and we had a great stay! He was very responsive to questions and helped us with parking and when we lost a wallet in the downstairs brewery he helped us find it. The property was very nice and accommodating for 6 people, including cooking our own meals and playing games.

Great location and spacious unit. Steps are narrow and steep, so any mobility issues should be cautioned. We really enjoyed the kitchen and the modern appliances/kitchen tools. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Living space made it entertaining for all guests.

Great Location in Downtown Dubuque

Property is very clean, we loved how everything was labelled in the apartment. The stairs going up to it are quite steep so be aware of that if anyone in your party has mobility issues. All the linens were wonderful (towels are incredibly soft). The TVs were nice, and all of the furniture is comfortable. You can walk to pretty much anything in the downtown area.

Perfect for 5!

This property was super clean, easy to find, and had everything we needed and more. Ken was amazing to work with as this was my first VRBO experience. We had lots of room for 5 adults to be comfortable. It was close to everything we wanted to do in Dubuque and even had information for places for us to visit in the apartment. Everything was labeled making it super easy to find the correct light switches and kitchen/bathroom items. I definitely recommend this place to others.

Absolutely wonderful property. Not all that much nearby but super easy to get around in Dubuque and very quick, easy drive to Galena. We reserved it for a girls (actually old woman) weekend and with the three bedrooms and two bathrooms it was perfect. There are restaurants and bars within walking distance- just not a lot. During our stay it was not the least bit loud and we all slept great. Great location for going to the Hotel Julien Spa and day trip to Galena to shop. The property is very spacious and clean as well as nicely appointed. They have thought of everything. The only thing to consider is that there are several stair steps to go up once inside the building. They are steep and somewhat narrow. Just don’t take a lot of heavy bags😁. If you have trouble with stairs though, this may not be the place for you. If you are good with stairs, this unit is an excellent value and you will love it!

Hello, my name is Ken. I was born in China and moved to the United States in 1997 with very little English but a strong desire to build a better life. I first worked in restaurants in Chicago before moving to Dubuque in 2000, where I worked at Hy-Vee as a cook and later became the Chinese department manager.
In 2003 I began investing in real estate, and in 2008 I left my job to focus on real estate full time. In 2018 I followed my passion for cooking and opened Oolong Asian Cuisine here in Dubuque.
Over the years I have had the pleasure of hosting thousands of guests from around the world and have received over 4,000 guest reviews across my properties. My goal is simple: provide clean, comfortable homes and make every stay easy and enjoyable.

Guests enjoy being close to the Mississippi River, the riverwalk, museums, and many of Dubuque’s historic landmarks. The area also has beautiful historic architecture and a welcoming small-city atmosphere.
