This beautiful home is located in the coveted Sam Hughes neighborhood. One of Tucson’s oldest neighborhoods, it`s located just east of the University of Arizona and about two and a half miles from downtown Tucson. Sam Hughes is bounded on the north by Speedway Blvd., the south by Broadway Blvd., on the west by Campbell Ave., and on the east by Country Club Rd. It is home to Himmel Park, Tucson’s second-largest mid-city park, which includes Himmel Park Library.

Beautiful home with thoughtful touches upon arrival - fresh flowers, fresh bread and jam and fruit in the frig. Well equipped with everything needed for a week stay and cooking in a few nights. Great location. We’d definitely come back. My negatives relate to the management company. We were never notified there are two DIFFERENT codes to the front and back door. The front door jammed and tried to use the wrong code in the other door. Thank heavens to the wonderful one who came out and helped us. Otherwise we would have been there all night. Instructions to the carport could have been clearer as well as it is confusing to navigate the alleys in the dark. Credit to sending great help, Angel, to unstick the door and help with a running toilet. He told us the two lockboxes had different codes. Shouldn’t have been left to this.

Aesthetic over comfort

This is a gorgeous little house. It you are looking for beauty, it's a gem. Safe, central, and quiet. The owners had a few treats waiting for us too, which was a charming touch. Our complaint is with the beds, which are very firm, and the linens, scratchy. (Not unusual for a rental but prefer slightly upgraded mattresses and sheets.)Additional costs if you want to check in early, check out late, etc. We didn't need to, but just beware there could be more fees to come!
