Pelican Cove Condominium, located at 901 Gulf Drive South in Bradenton Beach offers it all! This smaller complex features full bay views, boat dock with electric and water, heated pool, spa and tennis. There is a large, screened lanai where you can enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sunrises. Located close to Longboat Key and just across from the Coquina Beach, this beautifully furnished unit provides all unit amenities to make your stay an enjoyable one. Pelican Cove is just across from the white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, yet is also bay front for fishing enthusiasts. This is a wonderful Bradenton Beach vacation retreat!

This top floor unit sleeps four with a king size bed, two twin beds. The living room features a 42" television. The master bedroom has a 26" television and the guest bedroom has a 19" television.

There is a washer and dryer in the unit for your use.

It is a one week minimum rental.

Parking is limited to two vehicles.

Beautiful place!

Fantastic location with great views of the Bay and easy access to the beach in just a minute. First time on Bradenton Beach and we would love to go back again.

Beautiful week

The location is PERFECT. The condo was very nice. Some updayes ate needed, but we were very happy there. Would definitely revisit.

Walking distance to Bridge Street and right across the street from the beach. The unit was clean and probably the bestAC of anyplace we have ever stayed. The boat dock was nice to have access to for our boat. The staff at Island Vacation Properties are hands down the best to work with. Will definitely work with them again in the future.

Loved having the screened in balconies in the front and back. The view of the bay in the morning was beautiful, and we could peak at the ocean from the front balcony off of the bedrooms. Location was fantastic, we could walk to and from the beach whenever we wanted in 2 minutes. I liked that it seemed to be a quieter/less populated part of the island, but still very close to bridge street, restaurants, the bridge, the ocean and the bay. I appreciated that the company noted that there would be construction going on in their listing, and I was pleased when we arrived and the construction was barely noticeable. We couldn’t hear anything and it didn’t affect our stay at all. The pool also really came in handy for when my kids needed a break from sun and waves. We used it nightly on our walk back from the beach. There is a shower in the pool and a rinsing station in the parking area to rinse off sandy feet. Ample close parking. This unit is up three flights of stairs but that was no problem for me and my kids. And finally staff were very friendly and polite. Would stay here again!

Mostly Great

This is our second time at this rental. We love the location. It’s quiet, easy beach access and we can walk to nearby shops and restaurants. This is a 3rd floor walk up. It was fine for us but may not be for some. The living room has recently had a much needed furniture upgrade which we love, however, the mattresses and carpeting could use an upgrade as well. Over all we really enjoy this property.

The new living room furniture was very comfortable. The condo was very clean and well stocked. We appreciated having toilet paper, soap, paper towels and garbage bags provided. The grounds were well maintained with a nice pool, hot tub and pickleball court. The only negative was construction noise in the neighborhood. We look forward to our next stay!

Great location but this particular unit needs updates

Tile cracking in the kitchen, showers need updating, bed mattress was very saggy, kitchen utensils and pans are old, bedroom carpet is dirty and could use a fresh coat of paint throughout. We arrived to find rugs still in the washer and no internet service therefore no TV either. The internet was fixed after 2 days but the living room tv was never fixed for our entire stay. This property is in a great location and we enjoyed the beach and local restaurants. We enjoyed the screened in patio and the quietness of the complex.

Too many stairs

Perhaps we didn’t communicate as well as we might have. Perhaps we didn’t make it clear that we wanted a first floor. Instead , we got 32 steps to a top floor apartment. Did I mention that I’m 84 years old? The place was okay for our needs. Not great, but okay. AMI was a bit disappointing, but there’s nothing YOU could do about that. But 32 stairs with two little dogs that you did know about for sure (no communication problem there)… and two SENIORS ? Very poor sales guidance!!

Peaceful yet conveniently located

Suited us fine. Beautiful 3rd floor view of the sound. Loved seeing the sunrise. Management company was excellent. Could use decorative updates fresh paint and new blinds but was clean and had everything we needed. Must be able to use stairs

Being able to go to the balcony overlooking the water each morning and each evening was wonderful. We joked alot about the decor as it kind of felt like the set from the Golden Girls, but that added to the charm. The sky light was another feature we really liked.

While it does meet all of our needs I think it is time to upgrade the patio furniture(or at least clean it) as well as the furniture in the living room. Extrememly uncomfortable sofa, recliner, and Bamboo chairs. WHile esthetically pleasing it SUCKS as use goes!! I beleive this FURNITURE mentioned was the original furniture of our 1st stay about 10-12 yrs ago. It really needs to go!!

Great location and view!

Stayed all over Ana Maria Island and this is the first time we stayed in the south area. I like how the property took up the whole block so you have the bay and the beach. Plenty of room for a family of four and everything you would need for a great stay!!

Beautiful panoramic Bay view and across the road to the beach a very short walk

The panoramic Bay view is spectacular. Watch the boats, the birds, wildlife, etc. all day long if you like (off the balcony or through the sliding glass windows). If you want the beach, you're literally across the road (throw a rock twice and it will be in the Gulf). Quiet, peaceful, relaxing, everything you want your AMI Beach trip to be.

Communication and Care Failures

Reviewer Comments: Problems began when I tried to dry clothes on our 3rd day & the dryer wouldn't heat.I called office & was told they had known the dryer didn't work last Thurs(2 days before we checked in) & ordered a part.Leah said she would check to see if part was wasn't & time passed.Then when they installed the part on Tues, they found they needed an electrician,thus more waiting.One of the reasons we chose this condo was the w/d.We don't pack lots of clothes, so we rely on w/d.I had to resort hanging washed clothes on the balconies to dry.I certainly didnt want to deal with this on vac. and DIDN'T pay for a view only to muck it up with laundry. I was hugely disappointed by the companies' reaction & communication.They had poor follow up with us and made very little effort to show understanding and try to remedy/make up for the issue.They said I could go to a laundromat and be reimbursed (potentially) or carry my stuff across the island to have someone wash & dry them---what?!?! that's not what I was looking for on vacation.When I asked for extra towels, the owner huffed a bit and said, "well, maybe we can do that."Kindness and concern would have made the whole thing feel much better.Instead we received an attitude of "what's the big deal" & "why are you bothering us" from the owner of Island Vacation top it off, we were gone from the property for about 36 hours & came back to find dryer still unplugged so we assumed it wasnt working.I went ahead & washed more clothes,hanging them out to dry (it was before 9 am).I called company at opening & they told me that dryer was fixed while we were away.Why couldn't they have communicated this?They gave us a $100 gift card for local restaurants which was nice, but just didn't fully make up for the imposition & stress.Good communication & letting us know of problem before check in should have happened.I do not recommend this business.

Came back from the Beach Market to find maintenance person in our condo. So be aware maintenance have keys to your condo and will let themselves in!! Second maintenance person was by truck so must have let him know we were coming back because he met us at the door. Very upsetting to find him in there. He replaced the bathroom faucet that apparently needed changing. We did not notice any problem so no reason to enter. No notice was given us or we would have stayed while he was there. We had the radio on and our dog was in her kennel so she had to be freaked out. We saw them coming when we left but had no idea they were coming to our unit. We were gone for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Just so happens he was done when we came in, also weird. Creepy, would they have come in if I was in the shower and didn’t hear them at the door? Called Island VacationProperties Rentals to complain but all he said was they must have wanted to get it done. When I said, what if I was in the shower and they let themselves in he just said, sorry that happened.

Easy access to be with great views

Reviewer Comments: Conveniently located on the south end of the island but within walking distance of bridge street, it was nice to be able to watch the sunrise and sunset from the same unit. The beach right across the street is great as well as the sea life right off the dock as well as the pool and hot tub were heated perfectly. The condo was moderately well appointed and it appears the owner addressed some recommendations in past reviews. My only constructive feedback would be to replace the beds as they are at the end of their lifespan
