Condo was as advertised. It is a little dated, but that was already disclosed in the listing. View was perfect! Couldn’t have been any closer to the ocean. Plenty of room for our family of 6. Easy walk to the beach and to the community center for the pool. Agent was responsive with any questions or concerns we had.

This property was perfect for our family of 9! We all had room and the location and ability to see the ocean from our living room and master suite really elevated our beach experience!The hosts were so responsive and helpful through check in and check out. Would definitely recommend this host AND this location!!!

Good Value, Great Vacation

House had everything we needed. Loved the nice quiet location with plenty of amenities such as both an outdoor and very nice large indoor pool and sauna. Unfortunately, the hot tub was down for most of the week (it was fixed on our last day) and the weight room obviously had recently flooded and smelled. But not something that mattered as much to me, and I'm sure they are working on it. The location of the property was excellent. Very close to fort fisher and the aquarium, yet still only 4 miles from Carolina beach and excellent nightlife. The roads have decent bike lane, allowing us to ride anywhere and everywhere over the island all week long. Area has disc golf, skateboard, a free pier to walk on, miles of beaches, hiking trails, a state park, an amusement park, and if you want to get out, you are 20 minutes to Wilmington, or you are really close the Southport ferry. The master bedroom porch was over the sand dune, and at high tide was as close to the gentle crashing waves as I have ever been, making for a very nice sleep. I-Trip service was excellent. We were missing one kitchen utensil, and I contacted them, and they delivered me one a few hours later. The house was very clean and well maintained. I was going to talk about loose boards on the stairs, but midweek, someone was there fixing it, before I could even say anything. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this property.

Great management company

The place was clean. But in need of some updates like dish washer. The mattress downstairs & upstairs in the master bedroom were very much in need of updating, which caused a lot of back pain but the management company was accommodating to do something else for us since they couldn’t do anything about the mattresses. We were able to get a late check out since in our group we had kids & elderly. This way we didn’t need to rush out at a certain time. I would strongly suggest the owner to consider changing the bed mattresses as this causes a lot of unnecessary pain & suffering for people on vacation. Submitting the picture of mattress that shows how sunk in it is without any weight on it.

Our stay was incredible! Waking up to breathtaking sunrise views and enjoying coffee on the deck was the perfect way to start each day. The access to the hot tub and the fitness center made it even better. The location was ideal for a relaxing getaway, and the home itself was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We can’t wait to come back!"

ready for a facelift

looks great in pictures. this place needs a face lift and some minor repairs. ceilings are watermarked and cracked in places. it has no ice maker. Screen on lower level porch is falling down, bathrooms,( with the exception of the one with the bunk beds) look old and outdated. We like this location but would not stay in this unit again.

great location

This was a great location, right on the beach. The condo was not cleaned before we arrived and we had to ask them to reclean, and they did very promptly. I was taken back by the sign inside the house that said you could not wear shoes in the house. I did not see that in the original post or the house rules. To pay 3200.00 for the week and the floor was separating, stain on the ceiling, handles on pans & pots loose and came apart, toaster missing handle, sink filter always leaked. ice machine didn't work, shelves in fridge missing, the stove took for every to heat up. The master room had a small tv in it but the shower was stopped up and would not drain. There was no Tv in any other bedrooms, no shelves in shower in other rooms to put your stuff on. The hot tub wasn't working the whole time we where there.

Nothing beats being right on the beach

This was a great option for my large family of ages ranging from 1 to 70. Everyone could go up to the apartment as often as they needed from the beach and switch over to the pool when needed. The apartment was well stocked with linens and kitchen things. The view of sunrise was beautiful. Only down sides were the water pressure in the showers wasn’t great and made washing a lot of hair pretty difficult and the beds were comfortable but a little wonky in shape. Finally, Kure Beach itself just needs a little knowledge of where the tide reaches and when so you don’t get your things wet. The beach gets to be pretty small during high tide so maybe a better time to be at the pool then if you have a lot of people or little ones hoping to play safely. The property managers were very responsive.

Great communication

Everything was as described. Any questions we had prior to or during our stay were quickly answered. In fact, the communication was top notch. If I could give the communication 6 stars I would. Instructions were great, checking in with us while we were there was appreciated. We felt welcomed and comfortable. Beach access point very close. Quick walk to Rec Center. Longer walk to pier but nice way to start the morning. Shoreline here is all sand, some units in the higher number buildings have rocky ledges. Outdoor pool steps away, indoor pool at rec center. Everything in working order. Carolina Beach very short drive away for more restaurants and things to do. Wilmington just past that with anything else you could need

The place needs a BIG over haul in cleaning corners in bath rooms and be updated! Garbage can in kitchen was never cleaned. The HOA needs to replace ALL decks and stairs. Carpet on steps was filthy, most of the outlets did not work. This is the first time my family has visited this area. Will Not come back. We have gone to Emerald Isle, and Topsail since 1987. Thought we would try something new. I might as well thrown my money in the ocean.

Dune our thing review

The location is fantastic, and the ocean views are incredible. Very short walk to the beach access point. As one gets closer to the southern end of Kure Beach, beach erosion has resulted in almost no beachfront area in front of the properties. The ocean, at high tide, is almost at their doorstep. At this location, there is plenty of beach left at high tide. The internet bandwidth is much lower than I'm used to (about 80 Mbps download and 8 Mbps upload on WiFi at the rental versus about 350 Mbps for both down and upload on WiFi where I live). Fast forwarding or backing up a previously recorded Olympic event was a 50/50 proposition. Some websites just took too long to load and the effort was abandoned. The mattress in the master bedroom has permanent indentations from prior use. The room layout is great, and the management company was forward leaning in maintaining contact with us. All the appliances worked, and the water pressure allowed for simultaneous showers. There is enough ground level parking beneath the rental unit to accommodate 2-3 cars. The Yakima Skybox we had mounted to the roof of our 4Runner made our vehicle too tall to fit inside the garage, so we parked just outside the garage space. There is plenty of space in the parking lot for maneuvering and backing. Everything considered, I highly recommend this property.

Perfect location

This property was a great place for our family of 7! The bunk beds were perfect for the kids. The deck was great to enjoy coffee in the morning and watch the sunrise. The location of the condo was perfect for the beach and pool! It was amazing just being a few steps away!

Wonderful 9 Days

We chose this property for its location and space and it did not disappoint! Short walk to the coquina (mossy) rocks. 3 bedrooms with the master being huge! 3 bathrooms so no sharing showers. Had a wonderful time!!! Tons of fun activities within a short drive!!!

Great location. The unit was nice but could use some things fixed up and you only had 1 towel and washcloth for each person which I have never seen in properties I have stayed in. Overall, it was a good stay.
