The house is a nice older home. Well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great. I appreciate the "shareable" bins to take from or leave the items we didn't want to take with us.

This was the perfect place for a family gathering over the Easter holiday. It had plenty of space and everything we needed to be comfortable with a nine-month old. Jaci was very responsive and helpful. The house itself is very cozy and well-equipped. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Springfield!

Dog friendly and clean. Had a huge yard for my dog to run in and was only a few minutes from the fairgrounds.

Great stay

The communication was great. There was everything you could think of in the house. S’mores, coffee, spices. The beds were so comfortable.

We understand the West Central neighborhood may not be the right fit for every traveler, which is why we try to be very transparent in our listing description about the area being older, diverse, and up-and-coming while still being just minutes from downtown Springfield. We work hard to provide a clean, comfortable, thoughtfully designed home with amenities that are difficult to find in many centrally located properties, including 2 full baths, a large fenced yard, and kid- and pet-friendly features. We appreciate you staying with us and sharing your experience.

The property itself was very clean and comfortable. The outside was older but nice. The surrounding properties on each side of this house are very run down and junky not very inviting for a first impression pulling into the driveway.

Check in was easy and convenient and the extra step of adding a code that was specific to me was a nice safety assurance. The backyard was beautiful! The house was so cute and had everything we needed. We didn’t have to drive more than a few miles for anything we wanted. We will definitely stay again when we’re in the area!

Graduation weekend

We rented the house for two nights for our kids graduation from Mo state. Close to Campus! Great commutation. We weren’t at the house much but recently remodeled and games are a nice touch!

The TV in the master bedroom isn’t connected to anything (cable, internet, dvd player, etc.)The water heater couldn’t keep up in the hall bath and consistently gave only cold showers after 5 minutes. (Master bedroom bath was fine.)The neighbourhood felt sketchy and there were dogs barking all night. Not really the owners fault, but also not worth the price.

We’re really sorry you ran into these issues during your stay. The master bedroom TV is a Smart TV that should be connected to the internet for apps like Netflix or Hulu, and it may have just needed to be reconnected if a previous guest unplugged it. We wish you had reached out so we could have helped get it working right away. We haven’t had any prior issues with the hall bath or water heater, but we take your experience seriously and will make sure it’s checked and addressed. We lived in this neighborhood for a couple of years and have always felt safe and comfortable, though we understand that everyone’s experience can feel different. As for the dogs barking, while we can’t control that, we do provide a noise machine in the master bedroom and earplugs in every nightstand to help our guests sleep more comfortably.
