Group Getaway Loft | 2BR Balcony + Backyard
Summary:
Rally the crew in St. Louis’ legendary Soulard district—steps from live-music pubs, craft breweries, and the 200-year-old Farmers Market. This freshly remodeled 2BR flat sleeps four in comfort, offers a balcony for pre-game drinks, a shared backyard with seating, and includes a coveted off-street parking pad. Self-check-in lets you roll in anytime, then walk or ride-share everywhere.
The Space:
❖Experience the Vibe
Your getaway begins in a red-brick 1880s rowhouse reimagined for modern fun. Exposed brick and hardwoods set the stage while fast Wi-Fi and a 55" smart TV handle the after-hours wind-down. Slide open the balcony door, cue up the playlist, and toast to a night out just blocks away from lively bars and America’s second-largest Mardi Gras celebration.
❖Space to Gather
The open living-kitchen flows easily—perfect for sharing snacks before the game or recapping the day’s brewery crawl. Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2 each host a queen bed with hotel-quality linens. Two vanities (1.5 baths) mean no queue when everyone’s getting concert-ready.
❖Local Playground
Park once and forget the keys: walk seven minutes to Soulard Farmers Market for fresh beignets, ten to Anheuser-Busch Brewery for a tour, and rideshare five to Downtown stadiums. Between sets, explore local drinking wells, late-night eats, and live music bars and restaurants —all clustered within a few easy blocks.
Guest Access:
The entire duplex has a half + balcony, a backyard share, and a parking pad off the alley. Second-floor walk-up (no elevator).
Keyless entry from 4 PM; check-out 11 AM.
The Neighborhood:
Founded in the 1830s, Soulard is St. Louis’ oldest residential district and still feels like a compact French village—red-brick row houses, iron balconies, and gas-lamp streets. Within a 5-minute walk you’ll find more than a dozen locally loved pubs (try McGurk’s for live Irish music), farm-to-table restaurants, and the Soulard Farmers Market, operating since 1779. Anheuser-Busch Brewery sits eight blocks south; take the free Clydesdale tour or enjoy a biergarten flight. On Saturday mornings, Tower Grove Park’s expansive trails and Whitaker Music Festival are a quick drive or scooter ride away. Expect a lively atmosphere on weekends, especially during baseball season and the February Mardi Gras parade—the second largest in the U.S!
Getting Around:
❖On Foot: Walk Score 88—most guests never move their car once parked.
❖Scooters & Bikes: Lime and Bird scooters plus STL Bike Share hubs line 7th & 9th Streets.
❖Transit: The #30 Arsenal bus (stop two blocks away) reaches downtown in 12 min and connects to the Metrolink light-rail at Civic Center.
❖Rideshare: Uber/Lyft average $8–$12 to Busch Stadium, $18 to the Arch.
❖By Car: Quick access to I-55 and I-44; airport in ±20 min. A dedicated parking pad behind the house is yours, with ample free street parking if you travel with two vehicles.
Other Things to Note:
❖Stairs: Bedrooms are on the second floor—no elevator.
❖Quiet Hours: 10 PM–7 AM, monitored by a calibrated Minut decibel sensor (no cameras inside).
❖Pets: Dogs ≤ 60 lb welcome with $30 fee; please crate when unattended and use the waste bags for the fenced yard.
❖Security: Exterior Ring camera faces the alley for package and parking pad safety.
❖Climate: Central HVAC plus tower fans; portable heaters or fans available on request.
❖Trash & Recycling: City pickup Tuesday morning—dumpsters are in the alley.
❖Seasonal Events: Mardi Gras (late Feb) brings street closures and live music steps away—great energy but higher ambient noise.
✔️ Booking confirms you’ve reviewed and accepted these notes and the house rules—feel free to ask if anything is unclear!
Interaction with Guests:
Check in on your own schedule with the smart lock, then explore at your own pace. We live a few minutes away and monitor messages around the clock, so whether you need dining reservations, museum tickets, or just an extra set of wine glasses, help is one message away. Otherwise, we’ll step back so your group can reconnect without interruption.
