Things to Know Before You Go:

This recently renovated oceanfront condo is located in a classic 1971 building full of vintage island charm. It is not a resort, but a cozy and comfortable space designed for travelers who want an authentic Hawaiian experience. The interior offers 475 square feet of living space and a spacious 158 square foot lanai—think of it as a very large hotel room with a full kitchen and private outdoor living area.

The building is undergoing gradual improvements, and while it is usually very quiet, there is an infrequent possibility of occasional light construction activity during the day, limited to normal working hours. The unit is also located above the pool, and while the pool is not used too frequently, some pool activity may be heard. While new lanai doors help reduce exterior noise, you may still hear the soothing ocean waves as well as some nearby road noise. Hawaii’s beloved (and noisy) feral chickens are part of the charm—roosters may crow early in the morning and throughout the day.

The building houses a diverse, welcoming community of full-time residents, long-term renters, and vacationers representing all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

Hawaii’s open-air design philosophy means hallways are open to the outdoors, which encourages airflow and natural cooling. You’ll enjoy refreshing trade winds when the lanai and front door are open—please remember to close all doors when using the air conditioner.
