Summary:
Welcome to Grand Getaway at Bahama Bay, a beautiful home that sports 3 balconies for maximum outdoor enjoyment. The Bahama Bay resort is a premier location with close proximity to Orlando’s iconic theme parks and its own massive list of onsite amenities.

The Space:
This home is a penthouse unit, meaning you get top floor views and a quiet stay without noise from upstairs neighbors. The living space features a large sectional, smart tv, board games, pool views and access to the first screened-in balcony. Step onto the balcony and instantly feel calm with the lush green trees swaying in the Florida breeze.

Back inside, a bright kitchen provides everything you need to whip up some delicious dishes from home. Additional kitchenware such as a coffee maker, toaster, and blender is available for your convenience. The eat-in kitchen counter has 2 barstools for casual dining. For more formal meals together, a gorgeous rattan dining table for 6 is steps away.

The home sleeps up to 8 guests comfortably between 3 bedrooms. Each space is fully furnished with luxe linens to ensure everyone has a restful stay. Two bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms.

Bedroom #1 is furnished with 2 full size beds and a smart TV.

Bedroom #2 has a queen size bed, smart TV, balcony access, and ensuite bathroom with double vanity, walk-in shower, and soaking tub. The screened-in balcony offers seating for 2.

Bedroom #3 has a king size bed, smart TV, screened balcony access, and ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. The screened balcony is spacious and hosts quaint dining furniture.

THINGS TO NOTE:
This is a penthouse unit accessible by stairs only.
Washer and dryer in unit.
Parking is provided.
- In case of hurricanes or inclimate weather or due to necessary repairs, certain amenities may be closed and unavailable during your stay. We cannot guarantee the availability of each amenity​ in the community.
- Due to the high incidence of theft and damage, we do not provide wash cloths for bathing. If you need wash cloths, you will want to bring your own. However, bath towels and hand towels are provided.

The home is in the Bahama Bay Resort, a prime location with all the major theme parks just a quick drive away: Walt Disney World (7.6 miles), Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge (10.4 miles), Universal Studios (20.5 miles), Wizarding World of Harry Potter (22.1 miles), and SeaWorld (16.7 miles).

Being a guest of the resort gives you access to the private clubhouse, bar, and spa! It’s easy to be active around the property with community heated pools, hot tubs, bocce ball, playground, splash pad, tennis courts, and an onsite restaurant. Steps away on the sandy shore of Lake Davenport you can lounge on the beach, play a game of volleyball, dine alfresco, and go fishing off the docks. There is something for everyone to enjoy!

Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of $30 per additional hours requested. Condo Review

Great condo. Only significant issue is it is on the third floorof a building that has no elevator. This is not a show stopper for us and we quite enjoy being on the third floor. This was our second stay in it.Welcome letter was comprehensive. Maintenance issues were rectified quickly and professionally. Highly recommend it. We hav e rebooked for next year.

Great condo

This condo was roomy and well-equipped for up to 8 people. It’s nicely decorated. Good location near a pool and hot tub. Loved the balconies! The only complaint we had is the king bed needs a new mattress as it has a deep dip in the middle causing you to roll to the middle of the bed. The washer needs some adjustment as it jumps into the corner with a loud clunk! Overall we enjoyed our stay here!

Painful

We are senior citizens and climbing the stairs to the 3rd floor with no elevator created a medical emergency. After carrying our stuff up I needed to go to the emergency room twice with pinched nerves. We had to end our vacation before the first week snd return home to Michigan. I am still unable to walk ! Beware, there are 40 steps up and down every time you go someplace! The condo was lovely but extremely inconvenient to reach!

Vacation

The property is accommodating for larger families and there is plenty of space. The grounds are well maintained and the heated pools were wonderful. My kids loved the late pool hours. The apartment has a northern exposure and the living area remains dark even when sunny. I wish there were larger pots that allows for cooking larger quantities of food ( like pasta). A couple of the lamps do not work due to defective switches. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything the neighbors are saying or doing. Thankfully, the unit is on the 3rd floor, on the corner, so only one joint wall. Overall, we have enjoyed our stay.

Bahama Bay

Very nice property with lots of space. TV in second bedroom didn't work, or the lock on the sliding door off the living. I asked MGMT about it and they said they would get back to me but never did. One of two hot tubs at the main pool didn't work for most of our stay. We would go back.

Large apartment on quiet resort

This property is huge and made a fantastic base for our 3 week visit to Florida. Clean and well equipped. Bahama Bay is a lovely, quiet resort. Our kids loved the pools ( which they had to themselves a lot of the time!). Around 20-30 minutes to Disney and 45-55 to Universal.

Fun in the Sun

We stayed together with out daughter's family over Christmas. The 8 of us had a wonderful time. The condo fit our group perfectly. We would definitely rent the place again.

Nice resort

The property is nice. The unit is spacious, clean, decorated, but not cluttered! There are always little detailed things that don't get cleaned well in rentals. The cabinets were sticky, the high chair was really messy and we decidednot to even use it, but overall the apartment was clean and nice! We enjoyed our stay.

Condo and Resort above Our expectations!

Beautiful condo and resort. From the moment we arrived it was a great experience. Very friendly and helpful staff, resort and condo was one of the cleanest I have seen. Both well decorated. Pool areas was clean. I loved the walking areas especially the nature walk. The beach was so cute. It is a great place for families and just couples to come to relax. Perfect location for all the theme parks and easy drive to the ocean. I highly recommend.

Great Place to Stay

Property is as described and pictured. Unit was clean and freshly updated with new paint and linens. Bahama Bay is consistently a great place to stay. Grounds are well kept, pools are clean and warm. This was our fifth time to the resort. Would return again.

Highly Recommended

Very nice location. Large master bedroom with 2 other very nice rooms. Heated pool and hot tun right behind location. We'd stay there again, but would recommend better locks on the door. Also little troubled that security weren't always at the gate and it would automatically open for anyone driving in when they were not there.

Great place to stay

The place was clean and tidy. Had board games and Wi-Fi. The area was clean, beautiful and well maintained. Very close to all the theme parks and attractions. Only draw back was that the clothes dryer was not very efficient. Took a few cycles to dry a small amount of clothes.

Great spot for a Disney stay

Property was very nice and comfortable for our family of 5. Conveniently located within 20 minutes of the Disney parks. Beds were comfortable and the layout was great for our family. Pictures online represented the property well. Only issue was communicating with the host. Sent multiple texts to ask about items and the property but never received a response.

Exceeded expectations!

We are a family of 6. We had plenty of space. The hot tubs and pools were wonderful. Friendly neighbors. Close to all the attractions but far enough way it was quiet and relaxing. Felt safe being in a gated community. Great customer service when our pin to get in didn’t work and it was resolved in less than a minute. We hope to come back and stay again!
