Our stay at Judy’s cottage was amazing! Great location, and nice views on the lake. Was perfect for our group of 6. Has no AC, so gets pretty hot during warm summer days, but you can enjoy the lake to cool off.Would definitely go back.

Trip to Picton

The cottage was clean, comfortable and on a beautiful waterfront property. My family enjoyed swimming, kayaking and sitting by the fire. The owner was very friendly and informative. I would highly recommend the cottage and hope to go back next year.

A lovely thanksgiving weekend!

This property is very well maintained and in a beautiful setting, the outdoor seating and fire pit overlooking the lake allowed for a very tranquil and relaxing time. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, and we were easily able to cook a thanksgiving meal! The cottage is located in a very quiet and rural area, which was lovely when you’re looking to escape the city.. only a short drive to Picton for groceries, and there are nearby trails to explore. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Beautiful and Peaceful

Clean cabin, very friendly owners and she’s even an artist! Lovely paintings! Strolled around the country roads and ran into lovely people. The view is amazing! Looking forward to coming back next year

Peacefull

From the moment we arrive until we leave, we only heard natural noise: birds and wind. It was a perfect place to recharge our batteries away from the noise pollution of cities! The chalet is perfect: clean, modern with a picture window toward the lake. If I could, this would be my perfect house.

Check-in and out was easy. Judy was wonderful to communicate with. The waterfront is beautiful and the cottage is private with trees separating each cottage. Just lovely 😊

Relaxing Stay

We stayed the last week of May 2022. The three By The Bay cottages are located on the shore of Lake Ontario in a quiet area. There is no beach but there is a dock and diving platform. (Water was too cold for swimming during our stay.) Access to groceries, restaurants, pubs/breweries, wineries, etc. is good though requiring relatively short/easy drives on county roads. The purpose of our stay was relaxation and BTB cottages delivered. Recommended.

Great Family Getaway

We had a wonderful time at By The Bay Cottages. The cabin was very clean and it was nice to have our own firepit. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. It was great to meet our host and she was very attentive to our needs. We plan to stay again in the future!

Dog friendly get away

Prince Edward County is a dog friendly community. Dogs are welcome at so many wineries and restaurants and I’m glad we found dog friendly accommodations. The cottage was great. Lots of yard for the dogs and nice neighbourhood to go for a stroll. Great fire pit and BBQ. Comfortable seating and bed. Sandbanks pass was a bonus. Walked the beach and trails for 2 days. Everything we needed was at the cottage and it was nice to meet the owner. Highly recommend.

Stay was yo celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.

We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet & peaceful surroundings. The view of the lake was spectacular & having a nightly fire was wonderful. We would highly recommend these cottages to anyone who wants to get away.

Gorgeous rustic waterfront cottage

We had the most wonderful stay at PEC, this cottage was exactly what we were looking for, with a beautiful space both indoor and outdoor, close to brewery’s, towns and restaurants.we couldn’t have asked for anymore. Gorgeous setting, everything you need!

We had a 3 day getaway at By The Bay. It did not disappoint. The website was very clear and helpful in helping us plan and decide this was the place for us. Fully equipped kitchen and giant picture window overlooking the lake. Judy could not have been more friendly and helpful, greeting us upon arrival and even bringing a bottle of wine since we were celebrating my birthday. We hope to return soon!

Our stay at Country Comfort By the Bay Cottages

We had the most amazing time at this cottage. It was very clean and very comfortable with the most amazing view right in front of us. It was a very serene bay with sailboats in the distance. We had a family of beautiful swans swim by every day- so peaceful. The owner Judy is very accommodating and dropped by to make sure everything was ok. The water was warm for swimming but a bit squishy underfoot. I would definitely recommend this cottage to all. It also has lots of wineries and cider houses nearby and is very close to Picton, a beautiful area!

Recently renovated cottage

Nice cottage about 15 min from Picton. Free pass to Sandbanks. Great amenities ie fire pit, great view. Only drawback was the waterfront was squishy and partly weedy. But nice and warm water. Brought floaties so we could float and not touch bottom.

You have to bring everything along with you

At the end of packing all that one must bring along from all your linens to all paper products including syran wrap and aluminum foil etc, i felt i needed another vacation. Location was great. Should equip the cottage with more and make it more of a vacation for your guests

This property is quiet, unique,... a wee bit off the beaten track, in the south east side of "The County", on Smith's Bay. We offer 3-3 bedroom cottages on over 330' of waterfront property. Each cottage is separated by trees and hedges for utmost privacy. A wonderful escape for families and couples alike.
