Perfect Beach House Stay

My family and I had a great stay. It was close enough to the beach and Main Street to walk if you wanted to. The 3 rooms were nice and comfy. We loved the big closet and large kitchen. We would stay again!

Great place close to the beach

We loved the location. Close the beach and freeways. We even have family over and enjoyed the outdoor patio and sitting in the sun having an early dinner one night. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ventura.

Ventura Getaway

My husband, myself and our 2 goldens loved this home, by far the best VRBO we have stayed. This home is at least the 6th one we have stayed in the Ventura/Santa Barbara area in the last couple of years. The only con is the TV needs to be replaced, the speaker has blown and it was very difficult with the static to enjoy.

This was a very spacious home. Conveniently located to everything. Todd was a super responsive host!

This was perfect for us. My husband, son and our dog Kenji stayed here while our house was being tented. The house is clean , super spacious and conveniently located to everything for In n Out to the beach to downtown and the grocery store. The beds were super comfy and Todd was an awesome host. If we ever need a place to stay in Ventura, this will be my first choice. 😊

Great location for harbor. Responsive host

Went to Channel Islands National Park, and the house was within an easy 8 min drive. House was spacious and clean. Messaged the host a few times for some questions and got responses within the hour. The only wish would be the water pressure was higher, but that's a problem with the water municipality, not the host. Overall, I would stay again if the opportunity arises.

Ideal rental

I've stayed at numerous Vrbos and I think this one was the finest one yet. It was clearly set up as a rental and had literally everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The instructions were clear and communication with the owner was easy. I rated only 4 stars for location because it's a little tricky to find and it's next to a busy street. However, the windows were double glazed and we were able to sleep without earplugs. If we were to return to Ventura, which we might, we would hope to stay here again.

Clean, spacious rental close to the best of Ventura

Wonderful to find such a nice place to rent in Ventura that allowed us to bring our little puppies. Only 5 minutes to the beach!

Great easy location

Close to everything but not exactly walking distance. Great for bicycling though. The beds sucked but the house is cute, the location is not bad and the house is well kept. I’d definitely stay at this house again.

Good central location in quiet neighborhood

The house is well appointed with an exceptional layout for visitors allowing adequate separation space for individuals while still being a wonderful space to gather in open living area and kitchen. Although Seaward is a little busy at time it does not seem to affect the house and the neighborhood is wonderful to walk with sidewalks and charming houses.

Nice dog friendly rental in Ventura

As described, could use some TLC and aggressive cleaning / updated linens but has everything you need ( laundry in garage, big rooms and big bathrooms, well stocked kitchen) . Very good price and dog friendly. Thank you for sharing your space and being excellent communicators! We’d definitely rent again.

Perfect weekend trip

We enjoyed staying in this cute home on the corner in Ventura. Todd and Vivian answered any questions I had promptly. Us girls stayed in while the boys went fishing. Very nice neighborhood.

Perfect for multigenerational family group.

Met up with in-laws for a stay in Ventura. Plenty of space.L for them, us and our daughters. Kitchen was well stocked for family meals. Several options for coffee - a keurig and a reg pot. Walked to beach, grocery and restaurants while there. Beds were relatively comfortable. Sheets were soft. Towels were plentiful. Living room furniture was not very comfy, but we weren’t there enough to care much about that. Tv signal was not great, despite the hosts thorough instructions for use. That meant better visiting time though!

Thanksgiving Family Weekend

Property is as described and photographed. Roomy and comfortable. Located near good shopping and easy access to fwy. Ample bedding, towels, blankets, extra pillows, also had a pack n play that was not listed! Older neighborhood, street parking is a bit tough to come by if you have a vehicle that does not fit in driveway. Side of house is on a busy through street, but did not bother us at all. We had just two disappointments, being the lack of water pressure and the TV setup. I don’t know if the water pressure in the area is just that poor or if there is another issue but the water just softly sprays from the shower head, barely enough to rinse shampoo effectively. Our TV experience may have been due to another renter logging out of the system but we had difficulty getting ahold of someone to assist us perhaps because of the thanksgiving holiday. It would be extremely helpful to have a more detailed set of instructions available should this happen again. Otherwise we had a nice time, the home was just what we were looking for. It is not really walking distance to the beach though and it’s busy streets with a lot of traffic.

Quiet and relaxing beach town. House is located in a quiet residential neighborhood yet it is within walking distance to everything -- Ventura beach, restaurants and shopping. Downtown Los Angeles is not too far away, one hour drive (65 miles). The beach is peaceful and not too overly crowded.
