The fully functional kitchen is perfect for dining, as it is equipped with a table and four chairs, a stove top range and oven, a Microwave, a Coffee Maker, a refrigerator with ice maker, a toaster, Cookware, dishes, and utensils. Conveniently located within walking distance from City Park & NOMA (New Orleans Museum of Art), The Fairgrounds Race Track (Jazz Festival), and less then a 10 minute drive via Taxi, Lift or Uber from Downtown New Orleans, the French Quarters, New Orleans Convention Center, Smoothie King Arena, and the Super Dome. Includes WiFi, Central HAC, Ceiling Fans (in every room), Front Porch, Video Surveillance, and Laundry Room with functioning Washer & Dryer, Iron, and Ironing Board. The place was great. A quiet neighborhood with some great spots within walking distance and it is close to the excitement of the French Quarter. Check in was a little challenging due to the listing being new to the app and some of the info didn't get shared. Oz was responsive to text and lives next door so it was a brief delay. You probably won't have the same issue now since he knows what the problem was. Would book again!

Location, location, location!!! It conveniently located to Downtown New Orleans, The Super Dome, Smoothie King Arena, French Quarters, Jazz Fest, City Park, The New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) and the Lake (Pontchartrain) Front . It's also located in the beautiful, Oak tree lined streets of the Historic Esplanade Ridge District community adjacent to the world renowned Treme' community. Established in 1718, it's one of the oldest settlements in the colonies, and is noted for it's influence and development of Jazz. Congo Square, a nationally designated historic site established in 1817, is also located there. It is where enslaved Africans and free people of color gathered to engage in various entrepreneurial, spiritual and cultural activities.

It is one side of the uniquely New Orleans architectural structures, the shotgun duplex. Built in the late 19th, early 20th century, of cedar wood, it has survived major hurricanes Katrina in 2005 and Betsy in 1965. It has been retrofitted with all modern feature comforts such as, Central HVAC, Laundry room w/Washer & Dryer, Refrigerator w/Icemaker, Shower & Bidet toilet. It's vault ceilings have ceiling fans installed in every room. The most recent updates are the custom blinds, Fleur-de-lis glass design door and glass exterior screen door.
