Keep one foot in today and one foot in the past in the historic William Edwards "Mattocks" House, a coastal plain cottage originally built in the early 1900s and on the National Register of historic places. This home offers plenty of space for your entire group to spend together, private space for checking up on emails and multiple sitting rooms for private games and conversations. Just a short 10 minute drive to Emerald isle, (traffic depending). You will be strolling distance to amazing restaurants featuring local seafood, live entertainment, shopping & local boat charters.
Mattocks House is situated on the waterfront of downtown Swansboro and offers boaters a day dock (max 28 ft boat) with the boat ramp under a mile away. Bring your own or rent locally! **There is no boat parking on the property, you will have to park your trailer at the public launch area.

Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form and sign & agree to our rental conditions.
IMPORTANT: Parking is free street parking anywhere you can find a space without a yellow marking. The parking lot directly behind the house is available for use but we can only guarantee parking for 2 cars.
Dock: The dock is available to rent for an additional fee, there is no boat ramp or parking. You must launch your boat and keep your trailer at the Cedar Point Wildlife Ramp public boat ramp nearby unless other private arrangements are made.
