Panoramic waterfront chalet on Bogue Sound — stunning water and sky views from almost every room. Surrounded by massive live oaks, this light-filled home is perfect for families, two couples, or a romantic hideaway. The great room features a floor-to-ceiling glass wall that opens to the patio; bedrooms flank both sides for privacy and each master has patio access. Each wing can be closed off for separate groups.

Sleeping up to 9: king in the primary master, queen in the secondary master, full-over-full bunk with pullout trundle in bedroom three, and a sleeper sofa in the office. The office includes a monitor and desk — ideal for a work-cation with reliable internet.

The well-equipped kitchen opens to outdoor living with a Big Green Egg grill and patio dining. Drip and Keurig coffeemaker. The double lot is studded with live oaks and includes an outdoor shower, boat dock with a sunset sitting area, and easy kayak access to nearby islands. Boat-friendly with ICW access; public ramp nearby. Note: driveway is long and backing a trailer requires skill. Water depth at the dock is tidal and wind-dependent, so low-tide depth varies. Kayak launch only from the ramp. No events allowed.

Convenient to the Crystal Coast: Emerald Isle beaches, restaurants, waterparks, and mini-golf are 10–15 minutes away. Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium, Atlantic Beach, Beaufort, and Morehead City are within a 30-minute drive. Come for the views — stay for everything the coast offers.

The property and view is absolutely amazing! Spacious enough for everyone to have their own space and gather for entertainment with your family during your visit. Would definitely book again! Location is close to family fun and restaurants!

An absolute 10/10 stay. The home is beautiful, cozy, and perfectly situated with fantastic water views and direct access. We spent so much time just being outside, relaxing, fishing, kayaking, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings.To top it off, the neighbors were wonderful, welcoming people, and we ended up becoming great friends with them during our stay. We shared photos on Instagram throughout the week, and we've already had multiple friends ask for the link so they can book their own trip. This stay went truly above and beyond our expectations. We loved every minute and can't wait to return!

Right down to informing us of lawn maintenance arrival. The house was exactly as presented with no surprises. Air conditioning was top notch and the house was very clean. This was my first stay on the Sound, usually we stay oceanfront. After a death in the family we booked roughly 3 weeks out and found this gem. Thanks for the week of healing in a pleasant atmosphere. Absolutely loved the views and walking the dock. The excitement of witnessing our Marine's Air Training, definitely added to the feeling of Patriotism for our wonderful country. Highly recommend!

Missed all the Isle traffic by staying on mainland side of the bay!!

This property offers everything you need for fun and relaxation. Unlike many homes in the area, this property offers peace and quiet when you want to relax but it's close enough to the beautiful beaches, amazing restaurants, and great shopping that Emerald Isle has to offer. The pier is perfect for relaxing in an adirondack chair with a cocktail while watching the beautiful sunsets each evening. The provided kayaks were great for getting out on the water and exploring some of the coast around the house. The house itself is top notch - comfortable furniture throughout, high end appliances, and a well-appointed kitchen ensures that your stay will be comfortable...sometimes too comfortable because you might not want to get out of bed in the morning! For our family and friends, there's no place else we will stay when visiting the SOBX!

We loved relaxing on the private deck, enjoying our morning coffee while watching the boats go by — it was the perfect way to start each day.The amenities were fantastic, with everything we needed to feel comfortable throughout our stay.
