Our beautifully furnished and decorated 4 bedroom and 3 ½ bath two-story vacation home sits on a very private and spacious lot surrounded by pines, yet is within close walking distance to Bayside’s Sun Ridge Center, beach shuttle and other attractions. This home is also next to one of Bayside’s many walking trails and stocked catch and release fishing ponds.
Enter through the covered front porch with rocking chairs into an inviting light-filled great room featuring a cathedral ceiling, gas fireplace and plenty of windows creating the perfect setting for entertaining with family and friends in the living and dining areas. The first floor continues into the remodeled, fully stocked kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances and leathered granite counters. The kitchen offers a large walk-in pantry and another dining and seating area which leads to a private screened porch. The large primary suite is just off the kitchen with a walk-in closet and a spa retreat bathroom featuring a separate shower and a large soaking tub. The laundry room, a half bath and entry to garage complete the first floor. Upstairs on 2nd floor, you will find a cozy family room with TV, the second ensuite bedroom, plus 2 additional bedrooms, a large full bathroom and plenty of closet space. This home has plenty of space to spread out. There is a generous driveway which can fit four cars, a 2-car garage well equipped with games such as bumper pool, ping pong and yard games as well as beach chairs, and beach toys. Completing this vacation home is a spacious and private rear yard with grill and an outdoor shower.
This vacation home has 2 zone central air, can sleep 8-10 people and is super kid friendly! You may also appreciate the subtle nautical accents and added amenities such as 24 hour check in, cable/smart TVs in family room and in every bedroom, WiFi, books, family friendly games, beach chairs, water toys, grill, local maps and guidebooks and a fully stocked kitchen for those epic gourmet dinners- whether home-made or take out. Coffee/tea lovers will appreciate the dual carafe/K-cup coffee maker.
Bayside is a quaint community featuring endless sidewalks and walking trails leading to wetland marshes, beautiful bay vistas, woodlands and open meadows as well as the convenience of nearby shops and dining. Bayside guests enjoy so many exciting amenities. The Sun Ridge Center, just a short 5-8 minute walk away, offers an expansive outdoor pool with a children's splash zone, hot tub and pool grill and bar as well as tennis, pickle ball and basket ball courts, sand volleyball, activity center and playground. The Health & Aquatic Center, a 10-15 minute walk from vacation house, has a large heated indoor pool, hot tub, saunas, a state-of-the-art fitness center and The Juice Box-a featuring healthy beverages and meals. Venture to The Point where you can enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, and crabbing on the Assawoman Bay, or visit The Point Pool or 38 Degrees Coastal Eatery (10-12 minute bike ride). Visit the Freeman Arts Pavilion which "features a diverse and venerable line-up of dance, theater, children’s performances and concerts by award-winning artists” (10-15 minute walk). Stocked ponds for catch and release fishing are featured throughout Bayside. During the summer months, Bayside offers a Beach Shuttle to Fenwick State Park beach, just 4 miles away (3-5 minute walk from house).
Resort passes are required for Sun Ridge pool and racquet sports, Aquatic Center pool and gym and The Point kayaks and paddle boards. Upon booking, Host will reach out to you to inquire interest and share cost. 2025 rates until Sept 22 2025: 3-day consecutive day resort pass: $65.00/pp and weekly resort pass rate: $115.00/pp. Off Season rates: 3-day consecutive day pass: $40.00/pp and weekly rate: $70.00/pp.
