Enjoy sweeping views and wide open spaces. This 1940’s era lovingly restored authentic farmhouse includes vintage furniture and décor, holiday lights, and decorations. Drive the golf cart to the private pond and wooded area. Take in panoramic views by day, magical stardust by night, and roast marshmallows in the fire pit. Enjoy a glass-bottled RC and Moon Pie under the backyard gazebo.
Old-Fashioned Christmas
Enjoy our special holiday event with twinkling lights and a warm, glowing fire. Nestled in the countryside, our authentic 1940’s farmhouse offers the perfect setting for an old-fashioned Christmas!
Vintage ornaments adorn the Christmas tree while old-fashioned stockings are hung by the coal heater with care. Popcorn garland, ribbons, and bows transform the farmhouse into a cozy mid-Americana scene.

Songbird Story Farmhouse is the home that Greg’s grandparents built in the 1940’s. It has been fully restored and contains the best of the old but with modern amenities.
The backyard Garden Tower presents guests with sweeping views of the farm. The fully stocked private fishing pond is within walking distance of the farmhouse. Songbird Story Express (golf cart) provides guests with private transportation around the farm during their stay.
Cedar slab benches around the wooded pond area are a relaxing escape.

Songbird Story Farmhouse is an authentic vintage home. Constructed during World War II of sawmill grade timber, the farmhouse contains some original pieces of furniture. The rooms are painted in colors of the 1940’s and 1950’s.
The tongue-and-groove pine from a late 1800’s/early 1900’s community barn still cover the living room walls and ceiling.
The fireplace is original to the home as is the stonework.
A scrapbook/photo album for guests contains the history of the 40 acre farm and general store that Greg’s grandparents built and operated in the 1950’s.
