Stayed June 1-8 with my husband and daughters (ages 13 and 10). First visit to the Myrtle Beach area.Pros:- 2nd floor was great when the elevators were busy / backed up, we could easily take the stairs.- Unit is nice-sized, great to have two bathrooms.- Washer and dryer were helpful.- Well-stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, small appliances, etc.- Location in North MB was great, short drives to shopping, restaurants, activities.- Beach was great! Clean, lifeguard on duty, not terribly crowded.- Pool and lazy river were great for the kids (though consistent application of rules - i.e. needing to be in a tube on the lazy river - would have been nice).- Plenty of hot water in the showers.Cons- Second floor wasn't as nice when we wanted to sit on the balcony to drink coffee in the morning as you could hear all the pool noise.- There was no trash can in the master bathroom.- No extra trash bags were provided. Thankfully we had grocery bags we could use.- Mattresses were NOT GREAT. I know firmness is a very personal preference, but the master bed was downright hard. And squeaky. Beds in the second bedroom were very similar.- Two elevators for such a large building led to delays, especially when folks were checking in / out.- Parking across the street isn't ideal, and the garage is tight. We didn't have a big vehicle but corners were tight.- I was told by the property manager that there was "plenty" of nice beach equipment for use by renters. The storage closet outside the unit was jammed shut, and when we finally got it open, we found one decent camp chair, one rusty camp chair, and two rusted / broken beach chairs that were unusable (and frankly, dangerous). There was a decent umbrella, boogie boards, and some sand toys, but I was VERY disappointed in what was promised. We ended up renting from the city (which was expensive, but nice not to have to set up / take down the
