Welcome to our country retreat! Perfect for family gatherings, winery weekends, wedding guests, couples retreat or visiting for sports tournaments! Relax under the stars by the fire pit, fish in the stocked pond, or cook in the chef's kitchen. A scenic 40-minute drive to Arrowhead Stadium and quick 50-minute drive from KC International Airport. This property is conveniently located for easy access to city attractions yet situated in a private country setting. Stretch out and breathe in the fresh country air!

Everyone loves a clean home. Please gather your trash bags and place them in the bins on the south side of the detached garage.
Please load all used dishes and start the dishwasher prior to leaving. Pods can be found under the kitchen sink.
Don't worry about the bedding and used towels, we'll take care of it. Instead pour yourself another cup of coffee and enjoy a beautiful morning on the deck!

The property includes a pond. For Safety, children must be supervised at all times when outdoors. Swimming is not permitted.
Fires are only allowed in the designated smokeless fire pit. Guest must follow Miami County fire restrictions. No burning when winds exceed 15mph.
To help keep our retreat peaceful for everyone, we have a maximum guest limit of 10 people, including visitors unless approved by the owner.

Rented this house for my family who was in town for my daughter’s wedding. My entire family are clean freaks and not once has my mother every went into a hotel room or vrbo and actual commented how clean everything is not once. So when I tell you this place will be up to your standards please believe me. It is in the country very quiet and they even have chickens and said they could get fresh eggs if they wanted. The house was absolutely beautiful with little details like a coffee bar and a hammock outside. My family actually wants to go back with some other family and just relax for a few days. I highly recommend this place!

This seriously is one of the best places I have stayed so far! The pictures online are beautiful and the reason I picked the house, but they don't even do it justice. This house is GORGEOUS. It is on a beautiful piece of property that we didn't even have to time to explore more because the surrounding yard and back porch were too serene that we didn't even want to leave that area. The house is completely stocked - like things I don't even have at home. They've even thought of making sure there is tupperware and ziploc bags. Little things that make traveling so much easier. The coffee and tea selection is top notch. And there are spices and just small additional food items that I didn't expect. Man, I'm not going to even remember all the good things I want to say - seriously.... book this place! The chicken coop is right by the house - we had fresh eggs every morning. And the chickens are so sweet, spent some of the morning just petting them too. The house is big. Theres a main floor, upstairs and basement. SO MUCH room - we had 5 people stay and there was still room for probably 5 more. The living room is spacious and the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and painted. The table fits 10 and they have things set out for babies/toddlers too. The master shower is so pretty, we are debating replicating it in the new house we are building. OH and the appliances - Cafe brand! Not sure there is any brand I like better than that. And the butcher block island.

In all our travels, we’ve always been drawn to homes that feel warm, personal, and connected to their surroundings. We wanted to create a space where guests could feel that same sense of peace, comfort, and belonging. Hosting gives us the opportunity to share a little piece of that magic with others.

When we’re not hosting, you can often find us planning our next family adventure, spending time outdoors, or enjoying the simple joys of country living. We take pride in creating a place that’s both beautiful and comfortable, where guests can relax, recharge, and make memories.

We also love how friendly and welcoming the community is. Whether you’re visiting a local farmers’ market, stopping by a nearby winery, or exploring scenic backroads, there’s always a sense of genuine hospitality. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and truly enjoy the moment.

We’ve added thoughtful touches throughout including luxurious linens, a well-equipped kitchen, and spaces for gathering indoors and out. Guests have everything they need for a memorable stay. But what truly sets our property apart is the feeling it gives you: that you’ve found your own private escape, where the world slows down and the beauty of the countryside takes center stage.
