Originally worked in Minneapolis and taking every opportunity to escape to Grand Marais while I've been restoring this classic property for over 25 years, (keeps me busy)
Only recently, retired from the "helping field" and now 74, I have my first chance to move up to this 'haven'

Grand Marais is such a unique place and "The Big Lake" - Superior - is awesome and powerful - an inland Sea with 10% of the world's fresh water
Eventually, people turn around and notice the endless natural wilderness which remains pristine and magical
Having access to a swimmable lake, privacy, starlit sky and QUIET that is "loud"
Still with easy access to the whole "Arrowhead" of Cook county
