It’s Okay

I booked this sort of last minute, so I got what I got. Here’s the details for those that, like me, want blunt truth in a review. Pros: location is awesome, the beach is gorgeous, and it’s fairly close to everything (though there is a LOT of traffic in PCB). Easy check-in, and the property overall and the condo itself was pretty clean. The condo itself is located in a gated community of condos and was safe for my vehicle. The condo specifically has 2 bedrooms. One king, and one with 2 double beds. Walk in closets in both. There is a washer and dryer in the unit, but the dryer is Oooollldd. It desperately needs to have the hoses cleaned out. There’s so much lint in there, it is honestly probably a fire hazard. The dishwasher works great and the condo is pretty well stocked with pots and pans and all that good stuff. The table is nice. The couches are old, but in decent condition. The balcony is awesome and has plenty of seating to look at the ocean. We did see dolphins from the balcony one morning. The king sized bed is comfy and there’s plenty of storage. Aside from nightly fireworks (we stayed 4th of July week), it’s really quiet. The elevators work well and we didn’t have to wait very long to use them. The pool by the D building is nice and very large. We enjoyed using it. Cons: The entire condo building is older. They’ve done some renovations to this condo, but they weren’t all done well and far more needs to be done for the price they’re charging weekly. The master bathroom shower is in need of some caulking around the tile and the vent above the toilet is gross looking. The other bathroom is small and has a stand up shower in it, also older, but usable. The entire unit shows it’s age to be honest, but it’s not the worst we’ve stayed in over the years. The beach chair service is far and away the most expensive one I’ve ever encountered. They asked $60 per day for chairs and an umbrella. That service is not affiliated with the condo, but if you’re planning to rent the chairs, be aware they’re EXPENSIVE. We just bought chairs and threw them away when we left. Overall, we had a great stay and while I didn’t hate our condo, it was a touch overpriced for what it is. I expected more of a luxury condo for the cost, and it most certainly isn’t that. Basically, if you’re cool with a clean, older unit, you’re in the right place. If you’re used to luxury condos, this isn’t that at all. It worked for us and we had a nice vacation.

Great view

We had a great vacation. It was everything we expected, condo was nice and had everything we needed. Loved coffee in the morning on the porch watching the dolphins and pelicans.
