My first vacation rental, The Cozy Cottage (Listing #252342), has been a great success and currently has more than 100 reviews. After seeing how much guests enjoyed staying there, I realized I had a knack for creating comfortable, welcoming places for people to stay.

When this little house came on the market just a few doors down from The Cozy Cottage, I immediately saw its potential. I told myself, I can turn this into the perfect little bungalow.

And that's exactly what I set out to do.

I wanted Clifton By The Sea Bungalow to feel like a real home rather than just another rental — comfortable, fully furnished, and stocked with the things you need for your stay.

Over time, I've also discovered that a home like this can be especially valuable for people who need a place to stay for more than just a weekend. That's why the bungalow is also a great fit for refinery and plant turnaround workers, traveling nurses, contractors, and other professionals working temporary assignments in the area.

Whether you're here for work or play, my goal is the same: to give you a clean, comfortable, private place that feels a little more like home.

When this little house became available, I saw an opportunity to create something special in an area I already knew and loved. Clifton By The Sea is an unincorporated coastal community, and while it isn't a traditional planned neighborhood, its location is hard to beat. It's just minutes from Galveston Bay, Kemah, Clear Lake, marinas, restaurants, and some of the area's biggest attractions.

What really caught my attention was the house itself. It has a comfortable, welcoming feel, and the private fenced-in patio gives the home an outdoor space that feels like a natural extension of the living area. It is also nicely tucked away from the street, giving guests a sense of privacy.

I knew that with the right touches, this little house could become a comfortable place where people would actually enjoy staying—whether they were here for a weekend getaway or needed a furnished home for several weeks while working in the area.

That's what inspired me to turn it into Clifton By The Sea Bungalow.

What makes Clifton By The Sea Bungalow unique is the combination of a comfortable private home, a great coastal location, and the little touches that make an extended stay feel more like home.

The bungalow is just half a mile from Galveston Bay and about 2 miles from Kemah Boardwalk, putting guests close to boating, restaurants, marinas, and area attractions while still giving them their own private space.

One of my favorite features is the fenced-in patio. It feels like an extension of the home and provides a private outdoor space to enjoy a morning coffee, dinner, or a relaxing evening.

The bungalow is also completely furnished and equipped for real-life stays, with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, linens, towels, and utilities included. That makes it especially convenient for guests staying for several weeks, including traveling professionals, contractors, and turnaround workers.

Most importantly, this isn't just a property I bought and put on the rental market. I personally created it with the goal of making it comfortable, welcoming, and practical for the people who stay here.
