Cozy little condo, if a little outdated. VCR and a cable box connected to a 19” tv via screw-in coaxial cable? Queen size bed almost too big for bedroom, and the mattress so worn out you feel like a beached turtle trying to get up. Had to go back to management office to get key because they forget it was not keypad access. Lady at office was nice.

Location was amazing, right on the water with beautiful views, stunning sunsets and lots of dolphins and pelicans at play! It was interesting to watch the big container ships float by on their way to the port. Keep in mind this condo is on the river beach, not the ocean, where the water is calm with great fishing and swimming. The condo itself was kind of “bare bones.” It was small and had the basic amenities. We had to buy our own beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, etc. The furnishings are sparse and the interior could use some updating for sure. Overall, it was clean, but the floors were not…seemed like the tile hadn’t been mopped in a while, and there were burrs imbedded in the bedroom carpet that really hurt to step on. Outside, the pool was wonderful and well kept. There are a few shops and restaurants that are walkable. The south beach area (where most of the action is) was only a short drive away. Our check in process was a little frustrating since they gave us the wrong key, and I wish they would have told us how to work the thermostat or provided some info or recommendations about things to do around Tybee (our first time visiting). Overall we had a wonderful stay and I would definitely come back!

We enjoyed the beach area and proximity to the beach. The facilities were very quiet and great for families. The problem is this rental was not depicted accurately. Pictures used for advertising were very old. Vegetation on grounds were overgrown. I spoke with reality however they stated they were not responsible for grounds DNR was in control. Ok that I understand but the reality is responsible for accurately advertising the rental. I will post pictures. First impression I was upset, I ended up staying and enjoyed the location. Plenty of dolphins and birds to watch. Day 2 we had ants and the last night we had a roach. We still had a great vacation . I just hope the reality will step up and post accurate pictures. Please compare the photos I’ve posted to the pictures they are using too to advertise. Pay attention to the pine trees which will show their pictures to be years old.

The property is depicted accurately in the pictures. Love the easy beach access and the dolphin watching is incredible. We love watching the shrimp boats and the cargo ships. The property managers take pride in keeping the area clean.

Quick getaway

Overall a great stay! Affordable for beautiful views and relative quiet. Unit itself is older and a bit run-down, especially the lock on the front door. But if what you’re looking for is affordable beachfront with a view - this unit more than delivers!

Beautiful Location

We enjoyed our stay! It’s definitely on the smaller side, but perfect for a couple. We saw dolphins swimming daily and watched beautiful sunsets from the patio. It didn’t have little things that I assumed would be there, like coffee filters and salt and pepper, but no complaints. Communication was great and everyone was friendly! Beautiful pool area as well! Would definitely stay again!

Property was a bit small and cramped but the view definitely makes it all worthwhile! Dolphin watching from your outside deck space was beyond amazing...would recommend!!

Our getaway

We had a relaxing 2 full days at the resort. It wasn’t exactly what I thought it would be, but it turned out pretty nice. It would be very helpful if I had realized there was only 1elevator in the building in which we stayed. My husband is partially disabled and we were on the opposite end of the building from the elevator resulting in a pretty good walk. I would go back again.

Dolphins Galore!

Overall everything was great! There are too many mirrors in the unit but it was a nice place. I loved the view and that we could just sit on the balcony to watch all the dolphins playing. Easy drive to Savannah to anything you want to do there as well.

Love this condo!

This was our second time staying at the Beach and Racquet Club. Our first time in this unit. The view is the reason you're going to book this property. It can't be beat. The unit is small, maybe smaller than our last. The couch is not a pull-out, that was a surprise. But there was plenty of kitchen supplies so we didn't need to bring more as previously posted. Bedroom was a tight squeeze but comfortable enough. It's nothing fancy but the view made up for that in spades! And there's plenty to do close by. Try "Seaweeds Icecream"! They have great flavors and they're open late!

Tybee Beach Vacation Rentals is a family owned business that has been offering vacation rental accommodations since the beginning of 2001 and we currently manage over two hundred vacation rentals on Tybee Island.

We are fully licensed, insured and bonded, and all reservation payments are deposited into an audited trust account. We manage the rental process and maintenance of a wide variety of privately owned properties which allows us to pretty much provide something for everyone.

We strive to provide our guests with excellent service and value by offering a wide selection of quality properties that are clean and well maintained.


We are here to serve you 7 days a week. Our day starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 5:30 PM, however, Sunday hours may vary during the offseason.

Our phone lines are open from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM we turn them over to voice mail at 5:00 PM. Our office is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Days and for some holidays we will close early the day before.

We also close early some days to participate in community events such as the Pirate Fest Parade, Beach Bum Parade, etc.
