The house was very clean and comfortable. The property managers were very prompt in responses to questions during our stay. No windows in the queen bedrooms though. We didn't care for that. We would rent again however.

This was a nice house with the beach just over the dune. The view was spectacular. Everything worked and was in good shape. It even has 2 refrigerators.

This house was located in a perfect spot! You can walk to the beach in 5 min. Beautiful views, comfy beds, LOTS of board games, 2 fridges & 2 microwaves…. However, the dryer didn’t work well (had to run it several times), I never could get the dishwasher to work, the outside shower does not work (you have to use a water hose), the wooden bench pictured no longer exists, and the city water looked yellow (probably can’t be controlled by the home owners). There’s an HEB and Walmart about 15 min away, and some mini food marts nearby. There was not practical utensils in the kitchen. There was only one cooking skillet, 1000 serving platters, no pizza cutter but yet it had a cigar cutter… just random things in the kitchen. I also couldn’t get the front right burner to work on the stove top. All in all, the location and proximity to the beach was top notch, but the amenities were lacking.

Simply amazing!

Mermaids Paradise was the perfect place for a girls weekend get away. The decor was beautiful and amenities were wonderful. We are already planning our next trip and want to come back to the same place. My only recommendations are to supply at least 1 more roll of paper towels and toilet paper. I would also love for the swing in the pictures to be back in place (I understand it was ruined in the hurricane.)

The view and beach access is amazing! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make meals. Plenty of bath towels, soap and shampoo. The owners have thought of everything! The house is perfect for 2 couples!

Loved My Stay

Loved everything about the house and location. Only problem was the check in process did not explain how to unlock door and i had to send multiple messages to the host and vicasa, to get clear instructions to open door.

Nice and peaceful

Beautiful beach cottage decor throughout and a beautiful view that you literally can look at all day. Definitely recommend and will be going back.

Easy, comfortable place to stay.

We have stayed at this property twice. We love it! It works great for our family; it is relaxing and easy going, cozy and cute. 2 trips both successes. The open kitchen, a lot of counter space + 2 refrigerators and large island is perfect for beach stays and quick meals. Clean and the view is amazing. Cons - Surfside's rusty smelling water and the towns amenities - but you know that when booking Surfside. We take bottled water for cooking/drinking. Bring beach chairs, foil, paper towels and kitchen trash bags.
