Checking in was terrible! Our flight was delayed, so we did not arrive until very late at night(not the VRBO owners fault) unfortunately, the owner provided us with an incorrect pin number for the unit, so we could not access the property. We were forced to spend the night on the floor of the lobby because everywhere within 5 miles was booked (we looked). Once the owner provided us with the correct pin in the morning, we slept almost the entire day to make up from the lack of sleep the night before. The rest of the stay was fine. When we communicated with the owner, he offered not to charge us for the night we were not able to access the unit. That was 30 days ago and no refund has been provided. Personally I think we should receive more for spending the night on the floor, but the owner does not agree. I'm disappointed that our vacation was overshadowed by this incident, and could have been avoided if the owner were willing to provide us with a fair refund due to his error. We all make mistakes, and we should try to make the right. The property location is good, the lazy river was not heated, and did not have floats available. Beds were comfortable, and the view was fantastic. Some updating would be nice, but it was fine. Lots to do close to the property, and very walkable. We did not even rent a car.
