Walk out your bedroom door directly to the beach! Or just lay in bed watching and listening to the waves. Upstairs, enjoy the unobstructed views of the vast ocean from the comfy and cool living room. The island is just a few blocks wide here, so you can even view the blue waters of Bogue Sound. This is your dream house right on the beach – not a condo complex – in an area of only single-family homes. You have a huge sundeck on the sand dune and a wide stretch of beach steps away. Duplex. 2 BR, 1 1/2 B. Q * Q. Island Club linen service with beds made and No Worries Comforters. Dishwasher, washer/dryer, 43” Smart HDTV in living room with streaming apps (Netflix/Amazon/Hulu, etc.) and Sony sound bar that can connect to other personal devices. Wireless Internet access, remote control ceiling fans. Four private balconies on each side, large sundeck, enclosed hot/cold outside shower and dressing area. Rent both sides for the ultimate family vacation. No smoking. No pets.

1. Online pics misleading and info not on website. Both bedrooms are downstairs,kitchen and den upstairs. 2. Kitchen drawers/cabinets looked like the things had been tossed in (except for plates). 3. Couch- no cushion to it at all. 4. You must walk thru the master BR to get to the beach. 5. Bedrooms- no tv. 6. Outdoor shower didn’t work. 7. Stairs so narrow, it was difficult to get suitcases/coolers up and down. 8. Poison ivy all along the driveway. Grass not cut. Trash cans laying down. 9. Smoke alarm would go off when dryer in use and I could smell something electrical. I called the office (day 2 of the 7) but never heard back from them. 10. I messaged them 15 days prior to arriving and requested an early checkin and was told theyd let me know. On arrival, I looked in the windows, as I knew no one had been there for 2 days. I called and was told it wasn't ready. They called about 45 min later to tell me it was ready. Housekeeping card inside documented it had been ready for 2 days. Why not just be honest and tell me that checkin can't be changed. or what difference does it make to them if I get there early and want to checkin? POSITIVES: nice views, beds pretty and comfortable, soundproof from nextdoor part of duplex.

We appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. Items such as the outdoor shower, landscaping, trash receptacles, and the smoke alarm/dryer have been shared with our maintenance team, and kitchen organization has been reviewed with housekeeping. The vegetation noted is commonly Virginia creeper, which is often mistaken for poison ivy; however, we will review the area to ensure it remains well maintained. The home’s layout is reflected in the listing. While early check-in isn’t guaranteed, we did communicate this prior to arrival and followed up as soon as the home was ready. We’re sorry for the missed follow-up during your stay and are addressing this internally. We truly appreciate your feedback.
