Floor was pretty grimy when we arrived but they sent housekeeping out first thing the following morning. Space and location can't be beat. Not the nicest unit in the building, needs a little TLC and a face lift but all cosmetic imo. Lastly, the in-room dryer is leaving black marks on clothes. I sent them a message regarding this so hopefully it's addressed

Loved our stay. The weather wasn’t that great and riptides were bad but still managed to have a great time. The condo met all our expectations. We ran into the owner as we were leaving and expressed our minor concerns with her and our pleasure with the accommodations.

Being the corner unit, the balcony offered a great view in either direction. Loved being so close to the beach. Would definitely stay here again. Only problem was seaweed in the water. Had to go to Henderson State Park for clear water.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice Condo. Have stayed at Pelican Isle several times and have always enjoyed it. Loved the corner condo. We had several different views of the ocean! The only issue we had was the people that were staying above us smoked on their balcony even tho Pelican Isle is a smoke- free building. They have designated areas outside that they could smoke. There were times we couldn’t enjoy seating on our balcony because of the smoke smell.

Rental was ready early. Condo was as pictured. The only con I had was the bedrooms need dark shades and a shade over the round sky light for sure. Also fluffier pillows. The beds were firm, for those of you who like a softer bed. Other than that, it was a great rental! We will definitely rent from Brooks and Shorey again! and would stay at Pelican Isle again!

Great condo location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this condo multiple times, and I absolutely love the location and views. However, I do think it is time to update this unit. The living room furniture is not very comfortable and the master bath had to be rigged with a wash cloth to get the shower head to stay up. The master bed actually has a piece of plywood under the mattress...Ouch! As I mentioned before, this is absolutely a fantastic unit for the location and views, but not so much for comfort. It just needs a little love...
