Beautiful piece of land lovely river view close to lots of eco tour destinations. Very comfortable stay. Plan bring food and drink little is close by that we could find.

Very nice little place. Never met the host but could tell she really cares about her guest and makes sure they have pretty much everything you would need for your stay. Definitely when we come back would stay here in a heart beat.

Wonderful and peaceful little home, tucked away in a beautiful rural setting. Super comfortable bed, hot shower, the window unit sufficiently cooled the whole place. Owner was incredibly responsive and very kind, as I was in town for an ultra race and my hours were not the usual. Would definitely stay again!

This place was so cute! Everything was as described. Clean and tidy. The owners supply many things you may need during your stay. A heads up for guests that are larger the shower is smaller than average. We were only at the house about 12 hours due to getting in late but we will return if we decide to come back to the area..

Excellent location…beautiful and most accommodating venue Minutes from state park and white water rafting go to Laurel Highlands ask for LIV!!Small area a lot of places close early and limited to groceries local but we had a heads up!! So I’m giving one toooWe will see you again soon!!!

Writing my first review ever! This was a perfect little getaway for my daughter and I to see Fallingwater and Polymath park. We had dinner in the cutest little town called Confluence,Pa. Perfect for a quick overnight trip!

Went white water rafting with my son. Needed a place to stay afterwards. Close enough to Friendsville MD. Nearby town in PA had a great restaurant. Riverside cafe I believe was the name. Everything was clean and comfortable.

The Host was very responsive and provided a lot of nice amenities to make us feel welcomed and at home. Stone's Throw had a rural quiet setting along a tree line which kept it shaded in the afternoon sun which allowed us to open windows for fresh air during unusual cooler days in July. Window AC and dehumidifier in the bathroom kept the place very comfortable at other times. The location was great as we visited Flight 93 Memorial on our arrival day, spent 2 days exploring Ohiopyle State Park, other recommendations are Fallingwater (Frank Lloyd Wright), Laurel Caverns (take the hour tour, worth the extra 5), Fort Necessity / National Road history. We parked at the Oihiopyle Visitor Center both days and enjoyed exploring the town.

My partner and I only stayed for one night but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in this beautiful, cozy cabin! Donna, the host, was incredibly nice and quick to respond to our questions about checking in. The space is super clean, well kept, homely and full of everything you’d need! There’s not much of any kind of cell service out there but the WiFi worked perfectly for us. The washer and dryer were a huge plus after a sweaty, muddy day at Ohiopyle and the bed/couch are truly some of the most comfortable pieces of furniture I’ve ever been on! 10/10 Only wish we could’ve stayed a bit longer

We had an absolutely excellent stay! Donna and her husband made us feel like guests of the family rather than just renters. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and everything we could possibly need was provided.The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots and pans, and there were plenty of towels for everyone. Donna and her family went above and beyond to make our stay special—they even helped us start a fire outside for s’mores and generously shared fresh corn from their crop and delicious local ground beef with us.Their hospitality truly made our trip even more memorable. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area!

This is a perfect little warm and cozy vrbo, the hosts were very hospitable. It was the perfect location for our weekend of hiking Coopers Rock State Forest, Ohiopyle State Park, Mt Davis and visiting the Flight 93 Memorial. I would stay here again.
