Touching Up Need

The unit needs painting and the old units in the shower & bath tub should be removed.The name on the listing "Casa de Playa" should be change to Ocean Village Club. The current name made it hard to find.

Very pleasant stay

We have stayed in this same unit for about 4 years. Lovely condo with great furnishings! Easy walk to the beach and several pools.

Beautiful property and great location

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. The location is excellent; right on the beach and near so many restaurants, shopping and activities. We experienced some issues in the condo early on but every attempt was made to resolve them as soon as possible.

Great property in St. Augustine

We were very happy with this property. It is part of a fairly large complex with limited social activies. The condo is on the 3rd floor (no elevator) and is an end unit. The view of the ocean is actually better than in the photos, which is rare! What the pictures don't show is that you also have a great view of the ocean from the living room window. The condo is very close to the boardwalk going to the beach. The beach is beautiful and was not busy. The location was very convenient to restaurants and the local attractions. Parking was always available and is close to the building. The bedrooms are separated by the two bathrooms allowing a nice amount of evening privacy. We found all of the beds and furniture to be comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The listing does not mention that the condo has a number of games and a lot of beach toys. Finally, we brought our dog with us and found the property very dog friendly!

Great Space

The place was beautiful! Very clean and the view was pretty! Id suggest adding to the listing to let potential renters know they have to trek up 3 stories worth of stairs! Also please replace the beds!!! They are awful, the one in the master dug into my hips bc it was so sunk in. And the 2nd room the beds were very uncomfortable! Thank you!

In need of a deep cleaning!

Good-location Bad-very dirty. Had to clean it ourselves, they did refund our cleaning fee. In need of a deep clean. Had a couple of cockroaches show up one day.👎 TV did not work and it took 3+ days to get anyone to look at it. Eventually part of it worked. Rugs are mostly old and dirty. Bed spread on king bed old and worn. One of the toilets occasionally would not stop running. Had parking issues. Vacasa rep was rude. Had other minor issues…think twice on this one.

Our condo was in a great location, with great views of the ocean and pool. Everything we needed was there. It was a quick drive to a grocery store, and restaurants. I loved being able to do laundry and have s dishwasher in the condo.

Yearly Friends Trip

The unit was very clean and inviting. Everything we need was provided. The pool and beach access were not far and all grounds were well kept. The area felt safe and there was easy access to area attractions.

Beautiful condo , beach, and weather

We were there the first 2 weeks of May . Weather was perfect. Condo close to a very nice beach . Loved out stay there . We will definitely be back

Expecting top notch but felt disappointed in the end

Positives first... 1.location is awesome and did I mention location...awesome! Alright now the bad/disappointment. 1. Cleanliness was so so, utensils were quite gross along with the state of their storage draw, not only for utensils but also the cooking utensils. The can opener alone was rusted shut. There was long and short black hair all over the place and heavy dust on lamp shade/fans. The second bed room had a huge open hole (not covered) in the closet exposing water pipes and the air conditioner didn't have a cover over the exposed filter. Finally, the coffee maker was moldy, we cleaned and ran vinegar through it multiple times to help out the next poor renting souls, at least they can enjoy a proper cup of joe in the morning. Note* Management did contact us about cleanliness about 2 hours after check in, by that time we already cleaned up and bought plastic utensils and plates. We denied any intrusions to our family vacation. 2. Air conditioner was capped at 72F and with only one dehumidifier this didn't do very well, poo circulation in kitchen, dining area, bathrooms and small hallway. We had all fans on high and even brought two more for sleeping this still didn't help us. I understand that people in FL love the heat but we are from the north and enjoy sleeping in cooler temps. 3. Pool was closed and we were not informed. The closure was since Jan. 30th, management should have informed everyone and this is one of the reasons we chose this property.

A Designer’s Delight

Playa De Casa was beautifully decorated 2 bedroom dream condo. We throughly enjoyed our stay. I had no complaints with the decor, close proximity to the beach and all of the furniture. My only little suggestion is to have the housekeeper look under the beds for the dust bunnies that can hide quietly. This Is no means a this a complaint because just about every home needs to be checked from time to time. We will be back for sure and we enjoyed your lovely & welcome condo! 💕

Great condo!

We had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, it is a quiet complex, the management company was easy to communicate with and the condo was clean and just as described. The beautiful beach is a short walk away and there are lots of nearby shops and restaurants. We loved St Augustine and this condo.

Fantastic location in OVC. Close to both pools, the beach and 15 minutes from downtown historic district. Condo was very clean, updated and beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook, loads of beach toys, chairs, an umbrella and they even had beach towels. This condo is an absolute must, will be booking again in the future.

Both pools were closed all week

Notified management or Vacasa about the pools being closed and they agreed to reimburse me 15% of our stay. I’ve yet to receive that and no response from the reason who told me that as of a query just yesterday

Kudos to the cleaning team

We checked into the property and everything was as expected. My only issue was the bathroom curtain had some mildew smell. Within a few hours after we checked in, we received a phone call to make sure we were happy with everything. I brought up the issue about the shower curtain. But it was just a little minor issue. Within the next 12 hours, they asked if they could come in and replace it. Thank you very much for going an extra mile. The property is in nice location. The kitchen was well stocked. Nice gated community. Thank you so much for making our vacation enjoyable.
