Part of the gated Ocean Village Club Community, Freedom By The Sea II is a bright condo with a picture-perfect beachside locale. Walk to gorgeous white sands on the convenient beach boardwalk or listen to the surf from your furnished balcony, featuring a partial ocean view. This vacation rental is in one of the closest buildings to the beach and beach pool!

After soaking up the sun by the outdoor pools, whip up delicious dishes in the full kitchen and watch your favorite shows on one of three HDTVs. Unwind into vacation mode in the inviting living area with a comfortable sofa, a zero gravity reclining chair for sleep or relaxation, and a 47-inch TV. This stocked home also features high-speed WiFi, a stereo with speakers, a DVD recorder/player, a CD player, and three wireless phones.

Indulge your inner chef in the well-equipped kitchen, configured with a full suite of stainless steel appliances, including a built-in convection/steam microwave and a counter microwave, a Keurig machine, a drip coffee maker, and an ice maker. Prepare all your meals in one easy step. Then, sit down to home-cooked meals at the dining table. In the bedrooms, you'll find lit closets, USB ports, and in the primary suite, there is a new king mattress.

Additional thoughtful home upgrades include an ultraviolet HVAC air sanitizer and dehumidifier that cleans the air of bacteria and potential viruses, three ceiling fans, new storm windows and doors. Extra perks include a washer/dryer, TV trays, and parking (unassigned close to the elevator building).

An array of local shops and eateries are within walking distance of your enviable locale. A quick drive up A1A Beach Boulevard yields many beachside dining options. Arrive in historic downtown St. Augustine within a 13-minute drive. Family vacation

Nice place

The condo was very nice and accurate to the listing. The only recommendation is to update the shower heads in the bathrooms. It was difficult to even be able to wash your hair in the showers.

Spotless Property, Close to Beach

We loved this property. It was clean and well kept, and a very short walk to the beach. There are many restaurants and conveniences within a short drive. Check in was a little bit of a hassle, as I was given the wrong code to get into our gated community. We eventually sorted it out. Also, the kitchen knives were quite dull and hard to work with. Otherwise, we loved everything about this rental.

Great place + Great Location

We were very happy with the accommodations. The cleaning crew did an excellent job. You could tell they took their time and really paid attention to details. There were even live plants in the apartment! The dishes/cook wear was updated. The master bedroom bed was very comfy. The walk to the beach was close by and the community pool was cleaned daily. The only complaint would be that the storm door was difficult to open. The handle needs to possibly be replaced and the tracks greased. We would stay here again!

Very nice place!! Beautiful beach

The condo was exactly as described. Very comfortable and the amenities nice as well. The pool & beach were a short walk. We used the charcoal grill next to pool amd it did the job just fine. The only downside was the building across the grounds was being repaired. There was some construction noise but didn't wake us. It made the view from the balcony a little unpleasant. The pool closed at dusk so there wasn't anything to do after dark. The beach was beautiful with very nice sand, not crowded at all. Overall, it was a present experience and I would stay again if we're in the area.

Wonderful, cozy place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the rental is perfect - just a short walk to the beach and a short drive into downtown. The furnishings are stylish and comfy, making it a great place for relaxation. Instructions for the rental were understandable and easy. The only negative thing to say is that the living room area did have pet hairs on the floor and carpet. My guess is that this came from a previous occupant with a pet. It wasn’t a huge inconvenience, but if anyone comes in with a pet allergy this can be an issue.

Overall very nice

Emailed manager 3 days before we were to arrive and still no response and we left today. There arw haur dryers and beach towels, just a fyi. I called because no one answered rhe wmail and was told no to both items only to dind there was no reason to pack either. Beach towels take up a lot od space in your luggage when flying to not even need them. The key card is needed for the pool, the beach access and the front gate to get into the complex, would have been nice to know. The place was clean and in a very convenient spot to the pool and beach.

Entire Experience

Feedback as follows: 1. Door lock - it took several attempts to lock or unlock door, sometimes more than 5 times 2. Kitchen - fridge door was smudged. Teflon frying pan was had scratches which is dangerous. Disposer has an objectionable odor. 3. Second bathroom - drains slowly 4. Master bathroom - motion sensor kept turning light and bathroom fan on (seemed to happen after hvac fan shuts off) and off throughout the night every night. 5. TV reception kept freezing it was frustrating watching live games. We have booked another property owned by the same company, Turnkey, around thanksgiving and are hoping for a much better experience.

Not again

The beds were very uncomfortable. The couch slants downward. The dehumidifier was loud and had to be emptied every two days or it alarms. Washer/ dryer was loud. Cable service was ridiculous! It cut out every minute or two. In the welcome guide they ask you to call AT&T and report the issue. Well I didn’t know the account number and I am not the account owner. So that was a waste of time calling. I was not left a parking pass in the unit and received a parking violation by the property manager. Also a truck caught on fire in the parking lot and quite a mess was left. Once the truck was hauled away, cones were placed by the property management and the burned mess was left there all week. I won’t return.

Florida :Holiday in the sun!

We stayed in R26 in Ocean Village at Butler beach St Augustine for 8 nights Location excellent close to pool and access to fantastic beach. Apartment was clean on arrival and facilities were very good We initially had a frustrating start in trying to get into the condo The door security instructions were vague The ten digit entry code did not repeatedly work even when we asked someone else staying close by.We then found the lock key (no instructions)and used the four digit code and found the door keys .The lock was very difficult to operate and defied attempts to unlock the door until we worked out the technique .Over complicated !!We informed Vacasa of this problem and our real concern about the vertical blinds on the patio window being insecure No response other than to acknowledge the e-mail Two days before we vacated , the oven door handle fell off and it was clear that a previous attempt had been made to repair the handle but this had clearly failed.We contacted the Vacasa assistant by e mail but had no response .The promise of 24/7 support claimed on the Vacasa webpage was non existent.. All things considered we would probably stay at Ocean village again due to its location

Okay but we won’t rent here again

I was super disappointed when I received text messages at 8:30pm Saturday evening (our 2nd night) from the management agency stating that they received a noise complaint. Warning me that parties were strictly prohibited. My family (husband, 2 teen & 1 adult child, my elderly mother & myself) was playing a card game and laughing together, as families often do on vacation. I received a total of 3 messages within 5 minutes about a noise complaint. I called the management company and voiced my displeasure that my family could not play a card game at 8:30pm on a Saturday evening. The person that I spoke with had no details other than someone said we were too loud. We put the game away and did not utter a laugh for the remainder of our stay. The description says it is ocean view. It is not. The swimming pools in this complex close a 8:30pm. The automatic door lock does not work until the exact check in time, not one second before. The unit was small and was a bit close quarters for 6 people. The unit was clean and had abundant paper products. The cookware & utensils need to be replaced. Complex has “security guards” that ride around on golf carts all day & night while sometimes exhibiting less than professional behavior. We booked at a discounted rate and got what we paid for. I would not have been remotely happy if we would have paid normal price. Overall, I was disappointed and would not return.
