Home featured on "Animal Kingdom." Listen to the timeless pull of the tides from the oceanfront deck at this cute cabin located right on the beach. Beautifully furnished, the elevated deck is the crown jewel with a comfortable outdoor sofa, chairs, lounge chairs, and dining table. Large umbrellas provide protection from the sun. A fabulous, sandy private beach is located in front of the house. There are several great restaurants just a few blocks away.

The inside has a cabin feel with its wood plank walls and ceiling. The home has an air conditioning unit that is located in the main living area to help cool the home during the warmer summer days. There is a queen bed in the first bedroom and a queen in the second bedroom. Extra perks include a propane grill for outdoor cooking, beach toys, and supplies.

Lovely time on the ocean

This cozy cabin is situated in the perfect location for a relaxing vacation right on the ocean. You have a sandy area for play and a beautiful deck. You can get out past the rocks for surfing but not a beach area for swimming, however, just a couple blocks walk down to a sandy beach for swimming or drive down a couple miles to the boardwalk area. People around were friendly. Safe area.

Really appreciated the art and books - not to mention the view!! - could feel that the owner has personalized the space over the years - thanks for letting us use it for a little while :)

A Room with a view

The views were everything promised! Despite the weather which prevented most direct beach time it felt like we were a part of the ocean with the spectacular views. The structure is very secure. Even when the winds were 30+ mph the building was tight and warm. The main room with kitchen, dining and two "bookend" couches looked out on the ocean. The outside patio with comfortable lounge area was just below and the small private beach just below that. We felt like we were floating on the waves. The ductless heaters worked great and the kitchen had everything we could need. Note - most places to eat, shop and explore were 1-2 miles North in downtown Oceanside and South in Carlsbad Village. Walkable for me but not for my friend. I looking forward to booking this VRBO again when the weather permits those long beach walks that looked so enticing.

Lovely ocean views

Great location right on the beach and breathtaking ocean views. We loved the small private beach in the backyard and all the restaurants and amenities that were walking distance. The size is perfect for a small family and had a very rustic cabin feel. The only draw back is the public beach access is right next door which can cause some spectators and loud unwanted noise. Furniture was a bit dated as well. Overall, great beach get away!

A cabin feel on the beach!

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days and the photos don't do it justice! The inside had a quirky but Way Cool cabin feel and was very clean, had every comfort of home ( a Comfy bed and updated appliances as well) and all of the amenities you could wish for with a vacation rental. We did not know what to expect with only having 1 Review at the time, so we rolled the dice and we were simply amazed and Very Happy with our choice. If your looking for a cool get away with an Awesome view of the ocean from the deck the this place will definitely not disappoint you! Can't wait to come back and stay here again! Thank You!
