Thank you for taking the time out and leaving us a review. As the host of your stay we strive to make all of our guest happy with their stay! As we are in the mountains we do have some steep driveways but with that being said our housekeepers and inspectors have no trouble getting in or out of the homes. We wished you would of called our office about the blanket and we could of brought you another one out. And since you mentioned the bed in the basement we can send someone out to see why it needs replaced and speak with the home owners. Hopefully you will come back to the area and let us assist your stay again. MR. LAKE LURE VACATION RENTALS

Thank you for taking the time and leaving us a review. We hate that you did not see that in the description that the main level fireplace is electric, while the one downstairs is gas. We hope you will come back to the area and let us host your stay again. MR. LAKE LURE VACATION RENTALS

Thank you for taking the time and leaving us a positive review. So that future guests are not discouraged by your comment about the driveway, we felt compelled to comment. Because Lake Lure is located in a gorge, many of our driveways have a slope. Thank you for letting us know that some branches that need to be cut back as we will get someone out there to take a look and see what we can do. We are glad you enjoyed the cabin and hopefully you will come back to the area and let us host your stay. MR. LAKE LURE VACATION RENTALS

THANK YOU for the FIVE STAR REVIEW. So that future Guests are not discouraged by your comment, we have rented the home literally hundreds of times since 2017 and never had any incidents with the driveway. Because Lake Lure is built on a dammed-up gorge, many of our homes around the lake have sloping driveways. It's certainly not unique to this home. Once you go in and out one time, it's not too scary. We are SO HAPPY you enjoyed your stay and hopefully we see you again! MR. LAKE LURE® VACATION RENTALS

So future guest do not get discouraged, this home does have a steep drive way but our housekeeper drives a Nissan and gets in and out of the home. It was a pleasure to host you and we hope to see you again soon. MR. LAKE LURE VACATION RENTALS

Hi Michael: Thank you for the review. Yes, the summer foliage does block the view. You were here in mid July, when the foliage is at its absolute thickest. That is why the listing for the home stresses that it has seasonal fall / winter views, when there are not leaves on the trees. We also just cut more trees back so that more views are now available in July than in the past. MR. LAKE LURE® VACATION RENTALS
