Peaceful getaway

Loved the location of the room for its proximity to the pool and the beach as well as the peaceful balcony even though we couldn’t see the ocean, we could hear it and were not overlooking the parking lot.

Unit was clean and right size for our needs. Good location on the beach, and close to Fort Macon. Plenty of on-site amenities to keep you busy. Conveniently located to Atlantic Beach, Beaufort, and Morehead City dining if you prefer eating out on the trip.

So amazing to be right at the beach and have so much right onsite!

Beautiful and well appointed place! Stocked with everything we could need... linens, towels, kitchen supplies.The space worked out great for our family and we really enjoyed being able to walk out the boardwalk to the beach. The indoor and outdoor pool and waterslide at A Place AtThe Beach were so much fun! We enjoyed playing putt-putt on-site, just be aware you have to check out putting or ping pong equipment during office hours. We had a great time and look forward to going back again!!

Great Location!!

Literally steps to the boardwalk to the ocean and the pool… it’s on the first floor!! Our family of 4 loved this place. It had everything we need for a fun extended weekend at the beach. Beds were comfy and 2 bathrooms with showers. A great plus was we didn’t run out of hot water!! Nothing like sitting out on the little patio listening to the ocean while drinking your morning coffee.

We have stayed in another unit previously and it was amazing. We chose this unit based on pictures, 1st floor location, and reviews. It honestly didn’t meet our expectations. The ceiling fans and ceilings are filthy, as in dust dangling off of the blades. The living room carpet was filthy. Whoever remodeled the unit definitely cut corners. The bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were empty. There was broken glass from decor on the balcony. They did offer to have staff come fill them and clean up but we had already purchased our own by then and picked up the broken glass. The showers are definitely not meant for anyone over 5’3”. The location of the unit is wonderful for access to the pool and the beach. It just doesn’t really feel like much effort was put into making it a truly nice beachy getaway like we expected.
