ConsThere is no elevator, if you're on the second or third floor you're dragging your luggage and beach supplies up multiple flights of stairs. The facility has very strick rules, you can leave absolutely nothing outside your door or you're threatened with fines. The shower didn't drain. There was no can opener. Make sure you bring your own laundry soap (we left some). ProsBeach access was convenient. The parking lot was gated. Pools were nice and restroom facilities were well maintained.

We understand the stairs and community rules were not ideal for your trip. Southwinds does not have elevators, and the exterior policies are set by the HOA, but we know those details can make a big difference once you’re settled in.
