Perfect condo near Canyon Lodge

Our stay was great. This is a great condo located on the bus route to Canyon lodge. Exactly as described, super easy communication with host. We want to come back next weekend !

This was our first visit to the Eastern Sierras and the mountains, rivers and creeks and fall colors were amazing! The condo was perfectly situated too see everything north and south of Mammoth Lakes along 395.

My review

Great place super cozy nice mountain type architecture convenient. Everything was easy about the property. Communications from the owners were super responsive. No issues whatsoever would stay again for sure.

Great place to stay!!

First impression is that the owners take great pride in maintaining this condo down to all of the little details. I would recommend this condo to others without any hesitations. Everything this was labeled or had instructions written out so it was easy to get comfortable utilizing all the condo had to offer. I will look to stay here again with my family in the future.

Loved loved loved condo!

My family of four stayed here right before Christmas of 2013. The condo was a pure delight to stay in. It was very clean and had every amenity that one would expect and much more. The instructions regarding usage of the condo were great and thorough. The owners were very eager to assist with any needs or questions. The location was quiet and close to everything. One of our all time favorite places to stay in Mammoth and we will surly be back, hopefully soon! Thank you for such an amazing experience! Best! Freed's

Fun Xmas Vacation!

Thank you for a wonderful week in your condo. The condo was very clean and we LOVE the decor...very inviting! Plenty of blankets, bedding, and towels. We appreciated a completely stocked kitchen with a crockpot, pots and pans ETC. Our 2 Teenage boys were very comfortable on the sofa bed as we love the bed upstairs. The location of the condo was also in a great spot...close to Eagle Lodge and Canyon Lodge. Looking forward to a big snow storm so we can come stay at your place again. I have already recommended your place to friends. Thank You!

Home away from home!!

I must say this was such a cute gem!! I would definitely return to this place or even tell folks to stay here. I spoke to Ed when making arrangements and he was always helpful! They certainly thought of everything when it comes to hosting.. from kitchen toiletries, to post it and signs everywhere, to endless towels and blankets/pillows, all the necessary kitchen items, and even had drinks and snacks in the fridge (we had our own but we were impressed)! If you forgot something, we were covered! Thank you for letting us stay in your condo!

Clean & Comfortable

This was the first time my husband and I had been to the Mammoth Lakes area. There is so much to do and see in Mammoth and this rental is the ideal spot to come back to for a place to relax. It is very clean, comfortable & organized. The owners have thought of little things to make their guests' stay as pleasant as possible, such as soft sheets, two different types of coffee makers, flat-screen TVs (2), sightseeing literature, an iron & ironing board...the list goes on! The condo is a half-block walk to a paved trail that goes up to the lakes area or down into town. On top of this, the owners are extremely responsive. Our deposit was refunded within hours of leaving--with a nice note thanking us for our stay:)

Perfect location for day tripping

We loved this condo for a family of 3. The owners take pride creating a comfy home away from home. The sofa sleeper and bed upstairs were comfortable with nice clean linens and fluffy pillows. The bath towels were super soft and absorbent like spa towels. The Roku was a bonus for evening Netflix binge watching. That is what really made it a home away from home for my husband and son. The hot tub is nearby and spa towels are provided in the unit. Great location to day trip the area. We explored Bodie Ghost Town, Tuolumne Meadows in the East Entrance of Yosemite NP, Mono Lake and the Tufas, the town of Bishop, Panum Crater and Minaret Vista. The condo is less than a mile walk to Mammoth Brewery and Eatery - bonus for Mom! We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks, Ed and Janette for a great vacation!

Cute place, helpful owner

Clean, cozy place, ideal for a couple. Close to Canyon lodge. Owner answered a few questions we had promptly and was friendly. There were helpful labels around the condo on light switches, etc. to make it easy for the guest. Highly recommended!

Blue Sky paradise

We not only enjoyed our little condo, the quiet neighborhood and use of hot tub. We found owners friendly and responsive...the condo is set up for ease of use! This housing was the highlight of our 3wks of travel!

Cozy

The condo is cozy. Very close to Canyon Lodge Ski, about 1-2 minutes drive. It is a very private area with friendly neighbors. We had a great experience staying there. The kitchen is too small with old appliances. The shower is way way too tiny. I could not shower comfortably because it just have enough space to stand and cannot move around. I would give it a 4 stars if there was no dog hair on the carpet. Lots of dog hair all over the carpet and couch. I had to vacuum several times to removed the hairs. I rented the place because the owner said not pet. Overall, it is a cute and small condominium for a small family of 4. If you don’t mind the tiny shower and love the location; this is the place for you.

Hi Mai, our apologies about the dog hair. You are right, we do not allow pets in our place. By far and away most of our guests are honest people who abide by our house rules and enjoy our small vacation home, we rarely have issues, but unfortunately every so often we get someone who decides to go against our wishes and will bring their dog. We also “rarely “ have guests that unknowingly to us will bring more people than we ask for or more than they said. Again our apologies. I appreciate your efforts to clean the dog hair, sorry you had to do that. I will forward your complaint to our cleaner. Regards, Ed

Great place to enjoy Mammoth Lakes.

We spent 5 days in Ed and Janette's place.It is a well maintain place, was very clean, welcoming and cozy. The kitchen is well equipped. Convenient, quite location, easy and fast access to anywhere in or near Mammoth Lakes.It was perfect for the two of us.

Fantastic Condo in Mammoth with Everything We Needed

My wife an I just spent the last 5 days in a Condo that was perfect for us. Ed and Janette have equipped the condo with everything one would need, including a booklet that had: Mammoth maps, restaurant suggestions, things to do (with great info on hiking which is one of the things we wanted to do), and much much more. They are so organized and helpful they had detailed (color coded) instructions on how to operate things in the in the condo including the fireplace and the cable system They even had drawers of DVD's and board games. It was great and we can't wait to go back. Bob M

Perfect for two !

Very clean, comfortable, close to Canyon lodge and shuttle stop. Many amenities including staple stocked kitchen cabinet, medicine chest, lots of entertainment from board games to Roku streaming.

Comfortable, Organized, and Cozy

I appreciated the cleanliness and organization of this comfortable and cozy condo. My stay was made more enjoyable because of the short walk to a shuttle stop for easy access to the mountain during the day and the fire and fast wifi for work in the evening. Owners provided helpful information and responded to inquiries posthaste.

It was everything they said. Everything is there for you.

Condo was perfect. They have everything you need and more. Very clean, comfortable and cozy. Bus is close by, maybe a 4 minute walk, it will take you to Village. I walked to Mountain and took bus back after skiing. They have a book on kitchen table with everything you can imagine. Met friends at Burger's Restaurant, very good. Just had breakfast at Tommey's while wtg my shuttle who is MAWS which has been fantastic. Overall A+. Thank you for sharing your condo.

Coziest Mountain Retreat

SUPER Cute place! Cozy, clean, fully equipped, excellent location. Host Ed is quick to respond, and is very nice. The best thing is the mountain decor - really feels like a Sierra cabin. And the hosts had it decorated beautifully and tastefully for the holidays. We will be returning next year! Thanks Ed!!

Everything As Promised

Ed’s condominium is as described and advertised; very Cozy and very Clean and also affordable, which is not always easy to find at Mammoth Lakes. And as is often the case it even looks much better than on the pictures. A perfect place to stay for two. Just as detailed as the description is on the website so is Ed with his communications; just perfect. He covers everything which you can think of and even beyond. When returning to Mammoth Lakes we will for sure check to see if this condo is available. You will have no regrets staying here.
