Great location, walkable to everything in Sisters! The unit is new, clean and bright. Interior photos are accurate, nicely laid out studio. Comfortable bed, really nice large bathroom, 2 big closets with hanging bar and shelving for storage, stashing bags, etc. Nice to have the fridge/freezer & microwave. The coffee maker is nice but tiny, we just walked the 2 blocks to Sisters Coffee (excellent!) Exterior is accurate as to the building, but I didn’t realize the ground floor is 2 units deep and this 1 (B) is in the back, so didn’t actually have access to the porch (or any outdoor space). Would recommend and would stay here again.

This studio was clean and comfortable. There is no drawer unit to store clothes, but linens/towels on the shelving in the bathroom can be moved aside.The bathroom was even larger than I thought from the photos and there were plenty of extra towels. Water pressure in the shower was adequate.For coffee/breakfast purposes, the nook worked well. I brought a small blender and used the outlets to blend smoothies. The mini fridge has a convenient small ice tray in its freezer compartment.There is a little awkwardness when the other downstairs unit is occupied, because that unit has a sliding door that opens onto the part of the property facing the street, where guests for all units enter. So those other occupants often closed their curtain as I was coming and going. However, not a lot of noise travels, so it feels private once inside the unit.Fabulous location for a walk to the coffee shop and more.

I gave this listing one star not because it was terrible. We, in fact, did not stay there. On the day we were to arrive the air quality was 'very unhealthy' and the community was on an a 'Ready' alert for evacuation. The Akawa Butte fire was five miles north and was now the priority resource fire in the country. The second day we would have been there, they evacuated two thousand residents. We decided the last thing this community needed was two more tourists to suck up valuable resources in their emergency efforts. So we notified the owner we would not be arriving. This owner/manager/operator was unaffected by the emergency and I would assume not from the community. Even after notifying them we would not be arriving, they continued to send welcome notices, etc.I get this is a business, but to be that out of touch in an emergency situation is unconscionable.

We understand that wildfire conditions can affect travel decisions. However, this review does not reflect an actual stay at our home. The reservation was never checked in, so the one-star ratings for cleanliness, accuracy, check-in, location, value, and the property itself are not based on firsthand experience. Wildfires are an unfortunate seasonal reality in Central Oregon, and smoke conditions can change quickly with wind direction. We follow official guidance from local authorities and continue operating unless the property is directly affected by evacuation orders or closures. We also encourage guests to monitor conditions before traveling and purchase travel insurance for unforeseen events such as wildfires. Our arrival messages are automated and continue unless a reservation is officially canceled. We believe it's important for future guests to know this review reflects a decision not to stay, not the experience of staying in our home.
