Terrific home base in Greensboro for a swim meet! We stayed at the McConnell Golf Retreat Property for 1 week while our daughter competed at the YMCA Short Course National Championships.The property is a short drive to the aquatic center, which made it easy for us to go back and forth throughout the day for her events. It is located in a nice neighborhood with a walking path around the Adams Farm section. The easy, flat 2-mile trail made for fun daily walks with our dog. The house itself was meticulously clean and impeccably decorated. The care and pride in the property clearly shine through all the details. It had everything that a family needs and more! We appreciated that the host, Lynne, thought of everything from pocket tissues to extra extension cords. We are coffee lovers so the selection of coffee machines and coffee made available to us was a highlight to our stay! Every room was cozy and it was easy to feel at home. We loved the one-floor layout. Our teenagers (and our dog) enjoyed their own space, yet it felt open and connected. Lynne is very responsive and took the time to get to know us. She kept the line of communication open from booking until we were back home. She anticipated our needs and responded to our inquiries and requests immediately. She (and her husband) went above and beyond to ship us a small (sentimental) item that we inadvertently left behind. We truly felt cared for. We will definitely stay again should life bring us back to Greensboro!

Just one mile from Sedgefield Country Club, the area is especially appealing to golfers visiting from McConnell sister courses or attending tournaments, while still feeling peaceful and residential. Mornings here are quiet and green, perfect for a walk or coffee before a round, and evenings are relaxed and unhurried. It’s a location that offers easy access to world-class golf while maintaining a serene, comfortable atmosphere to unwind and recharge.
